Yes! Thank you! Because until the very end the art was saved and in a very good shape, and when white, gray and black pixels were only available, the Genshin community with the help of other groups such as Omori, Bocchi The Rock and more, straight made a grayscale version of the art which turned out to be good too, until the F Spez. Basically, Genshin community succeeded against streamers and haters and I am glad I helped them when I could. :)

@@idklol311 cod community is bad, not as much as it was years back, but it's really bad. but genshin community surpassed even league in toxicity, like in league, cod, csgo and other games like that we are racist to each other and insult the company that made the game genshin hate on each other, and hate on the company, but to hate on the company since it would be useless they instead target the voice actors and streamers driving them off the internet completely, like the amount of voice actors that received death threats just because the community thought that their character was weak or because they wanted to be racist is stupidly high funniest example to me was dori's voice actress, a middle eastern woman that voiced a character that was inspired by middle eastern regions, got attacked because the player didn't like the in game design and so they kept sending death threat to her or with how they tortured to death a cat that rappresented an in game character and posting the photo's of it because, again, they didn't like the character, and not even for the story or for anything else, they did it because the character was inspired by japanese culture and the chinese hated them

One thing, while the official image shows only the 50-60% of the genshin canvas surviving, the art actually was fully recovered when r/place actually ended(which was in Tue, 25 Jul 2023 19:43:39 GMT). Reddit just happens to take a frame from a point before a big attack happened on the canvas during the final minutes of r/place.

Genshin community is especially hated when many people remember that they harassed VAs & reviewbomb other apps that have nothing to do with Genshin. Some peeps like me don't hate Genshin for its fame or that it is made in China. The hate grew when the devs of this game don't treat their playerbase well, the bad gacha drop rates, the slow progress of the story, the underwhelming MC, & it's dangerously toxic side of community. No wonder my circle of peeps left the game since doing constant dailies while little to no story progress quickly becomes stagnant & boring. Meanwhile other gacha games have better story progresses & they have better devs. "cough cough HSR, Hi3rd, Arknights, etc"

The Genshin hate is crazy. I know we caused chaos for the Google Play Store in 2021, but past that we don't usually cause problems for other communities unless they say attack us for no reason and try to claim dominance like the Sonic community did last year 😅

I think it's because no matter how good community is you will have a few outliers.. And because of the sheer size of Genshin community, those outliers are more visible. Though, to be fair most things they do give a good laugh at best. Like, for example: "AK character design is just blatant hypersexualization for the sake of pandering to horny teenagers". If you know anything about Arknights character design, this argument not just doesn't hold water but the entire bottom is missing.

We have learnt that Genshin comms would rally in mass over ANGER, but not unity and wholesome stuff. Also pretty sure the obsession have died down a bit as the firepower has been divided into Honk Star Rail and next is the Zenless Zone Zero.
