in order for the experiment to not be flawed, you'd need to get these cats to know the flavor of each choice before letting them choose only 1 option. otherwise they'll choose randomly.

Cat's sense of taste and smell is way weaker than a dog's. That's why dogs love cat food so much because the food has to taste a lot stronger.
