It's just the way it is though. Jinyoung represents how you can enjoy food in your life without ever feeling ashamed, as long as you exercise appropriately to match what you eat. Just awhile ago media made it seem like you have to starve yourself and never enjoy good food to be healthy. But we all know that's not true, and media is reflecting that. If sunyoung wants to continue enjoying food she has to get healthier.

If you've seen enough of these videos you would realize that sunyoung isn't eating healthy at all. Her diet is not balanced at all and she consumes too much junk food in one sitting. Nobody is calling her out because she is fat, people are calling her out because her routine is simply just extremely unhealthy which led to her being overweight.

Every time I see the thumbnail for a video of these two sisters notice the difference on how they are presented. In this one the slim sister is shown chewing with her mouth closed with little animated stars above her head and using chopsticks while the curvy sister is shown eating a big chicken(?) leg with her hands with her mouth wide open. Why is that? What’s the point? They want to humiliate one for eating just as the other? But just because she’s bigger she’s shamed for eating?? That’s so disrespectful. They are both beautiful. They are both talented. Some of the comments mention how the slim one loves her sister and all this and that, but shouldn’t she against the way her sister is treated? Maybe she has spoken about it and I don’t know, but maybe until someone says something to these producers things will change.

Sadly, I think they both know where the money lies in Korean entertainment. They know viewers watch them for the argumentative dynamic and to watch the contrast between 2 physically opposite sisters (hence the thumbnail and representation). At the end of the day, this is their job and they play it up for the show (like all reality show stars do). It will take more than 2 women to change the image of large women equating to nothing more than comedy. Just look at plus-size korean celebrity women, most (if not all) are comedians. It's sad, it's disgusting, I don't agree, but that's how it currently is. It irks a lot of non-Korean viewers because of our mindfulness in knowing that weight gain/loss can be caused by things like mental health and eating disorders. But I also know that many entertainment industries regardless of where (american, korean, british) exploit certain people/cultures for profit, not just S korea.

Uhm. That’s just how each of them eats? And you can’t really put American standards into Asian culture. This is already a culture in Asia that people are expected to be a standard size. If you go to Korea you will see very little people agreeing with your opinion, maybe not openly but subconsciously. Actually, this kind of thought is frowned upon in most east asian countries. Also this whole thing is prbly scripted anyways and if the big sister didn’t want to do this she wouldn’t have continued eating so monstrously in front of the camera. Another thing about east asians, they take their work very seriously and will do most things to earn their pay.

u know, if u exercise and eat moderately, you have no choice but to stay healthy. you lose weight and you get much more energy. why promote being fat when you can be fit and healthy not fat and healthy. sure u can be fat and healthy but ur more at risk of health problems. and it's uncomfortable to be fat, exercise becomes much harder and you become more lazy. promoting plus-size is promoting lazy behavior and that's dangerous.

I’m tired of people commenting about someone’s weight or how much they eat in one sitting mostly because of their weight. I don’t know if I’m just too damn overly sensitive but it really irked me hearing them comment about Sun Young (I believe that’s her name) eating. I guess it’s just not my type of humor and it’s such a sensitive topic.

I totally understand where your coming from. I as an ex fat person used to be sensitive too but I used it as motivation to get my shit together. I think they do it because they care for her. She's not very healthy and there is going to be a point where its going to catch up to her and it might be too late to fix the damage down the road. She keeps saying she's exercising and eating right...but she needs to be honest with herself..she's not.

Most of ya’ll really clicked on this show just to criticise it for being body shaming or just getting mad at how they’re portrayed eating. I mean, what did you expect?!?! You clicked on a Korean TV show about a fat and skinny asian sister duo eating. Asians are strict with everything, including their diets. If you guys haven’t noticed, we don’t exactly have the same opinion as Americans on obesity and the same lines that can’t be crossed on the matter. If you guys don’t enjoy this kind of shows, just don’t watch it. Their main audiences are Koreans anyway so it won’t be any use if you rant about writing to the producers or filing a complaint.

I think she's doing well she just need to eat slower so that her brain has time to process and can tell her when she's full so she don't over eat.......also I always see koreans eating and they eat so much and yet they're so slim n don't get me wrong I'm more on the athletic side but if I ate that much I'd be chunky plus I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to my appetite is not that big.......

Tbf most Korean meals that you would typically eat at home are very well balanced and usually healthy. But I feel like the typical diet has shifted into more processed or junk food in Korea as well similar to how a typical meal would be in the US and it's increasing obeisty rate there as well.

beauty of a person will comes from positive character, personality and self esteem... but not by being slim, most beautiful ,glamour and sexy ... even a fat and dark skin person use to be more beauty than any other... who use have beauty, money and fame with out any character... i personally see people who were fat and chubby persons use to have more positive vibes and showing strong presence among others... rather than feeling some insecure and awkwardness in between most beautiful people...

This sucks how the society plays a trick on our minds and to judge people based on how they eat due to their sizes. They target at the oldest sister for her weight and make fun of her, when clearly the younger sister eats just as much and people would say "she knows how to eat". Why is that? Because the youngest is skinny??? As an Asian, I get where the elders are coming from but its not ok.. The older generation has a close mindset, so its too hard to change the older generations mindset (parents, grandparents). Also in some Asian countries, asians are prone to be skinny and light, the lighter you are and the skinnier you are, the more attraction people will come to you. If you are the complete opposite, they will continue to bash on you. Again, it is not ok shame on anyone in whatever means. This production is raising future bullys. Yes, they are trying to help the oldest sister to loose weight, but at the end of the day, helpers dont laugh at others mistakes or to make them look stupid.

Jin young does her sister no favors by filling her sister's ear with such praise for food. If she wants to get her sister to eat less she should start by downplaying food and acting as if it's no big deal. She tells her sister don't eat so much than immediately turns around and says food is the best thing ever.

Why is the show portraying eating for a bigger size person is like a joke? It’s basically fat shaming in an indirect way. What wrong with being plus size, its just that she needs to take her time to eat and chew thoroughly.
