At this point, I have two conclusions: one, Mukbangers have an infinite hole in their stomach and two, their food, no matter how concerning it is, looks good.

When I was little, I used to think I was the spice queen. Whatever my family ate and said was spicy apparently wasn’t for me. But when I first tried Korean Fire Noodles, it really put me in my place and humbled me. 😂😭

Well, there's something I need to say. You may often find Korean foods being red, but that's only because of the pepper paste and powder and flakes, it doesn't directly means it's spicy and will have you suffer on the toilet the next day.

Dorothy is different breed. I remember when she tried spiciest Jajangmyeon in LA. It's made from Ghost Pepper and she still ate it all 😭

I feel we can all agree Dorothy is immune to spice and we are here for it.

When Dorothy pours it in the spoon I was like oh okay that’s a good amount aND THEN SHE FRICKIN SLURPED IT LIKE IT WAS SOUP

I tried those 2x spicy buldak ramen noodles. It surprisingly has a sweet initial taste and then after that it's nothing but PAIN. I drank so much milk and water that I was getting full just on drinks alone 😭 It was good so I ate it all but I don't think I'll be doing that again until I up my spice tolerance a bit more. All of these people have my respect

Honestly I think my stomach lining gained some tolerance or something. First year I tried the fire noodles, my stomach always hurt so incredibly bad afterwards. Fast forward to three years later of eating the same noodles and dealing with the pain and now my stomach barely hurts anymore. The side effects have lessened. And it’s delicious so I’m glad I can finally enjoy it without the adverse aftermath.

Ever since I tried Korean fire noodles my spice tolerance has been higher, though the burn in my lips is always the most painful part of eating them everything else to me has been pathetic when the food claims to be spicy. Mostly I think it's because when my family member comes back after being away always brought back the fire noodles which are always exciting.

Korean food isn't as spicy as it looks typically. there varying spice levels depending on the peppers used for the sauces but majority of the time the spice levels are like a jalapeno which is mild.
