BSNL had all the capacity to give the service at better price and govt could have used the revenue for India and it's people's development, but instead JIO was promoted and it's built on BSNL's existing infra. We got looted and we are cheering for it, janta hi jab jahil ho to sarkar kya karien, keep them jahil and busy so they don't questiona their illegal actions jo desh ko ander se khokla kar rahi hai aur Ambani aur Adani ke pocket ko garam karne me lagi hai.

Desh ko kisi ki zarurat nahi hai agar sab log 90% honesty se kaam karei..India has a lot of potential.. lekin India mei kaafe saalon se honesty level was less than 50% ....mukesh ambani benefitted from a few schemes and brought out a few schemes to appear like he is doing public welfare...and is now running his marketing campaign. Reliance made billions from KG basin scam (govt. resource priced at $5 from the promised $2.5 when ONGC was selling it for less than $2.) The free data and voice from Jio is only till he acquires a lion's share of the userbase...once he has 600 Mn customers...Jio will hike the plan prices beyond your utility.....and they will use confidential data to sell other things....data that should NOT have been given in the first place. When so many banks never had access to fingerprints...how was a PRIVATE telecom operator allowed to collect fingerprints for aadhar verification? Jo 100,000 crore firauti karta hai...woh thoda bohot daan kar hi sakta hai. *Railways + Defence + PSUs employ 10 times the staff of all companies under Reliance group, and that's not even 50% of the govt. So your comment of 10 times employment is BS.*

That too, I remember, when I bought Jio it was completely free for 3-4 months. I remember downloading 44GB data of Hollywood movies in a day. And there was "Happy hours" also, where you could download unlimited data.
