Vastu Shastra speaks a lot about the main /entrance door of the house. When it comes to vastu remedies, it is
important to analyze the main doorway because that becomes a contributing factor towards vastu dosh or vastu
defects.
Vaasthu is way of understanding directions so as to channel maximum positivity into our lives, which means that by
using vaastu we can redirect positivity through the main doorway of the house. Vaastu tips for home can teach a few
things that are also evidently explained by Dr. Chawla in his KZfaq Channel.
For instance, vaastu for home states that the door should not open outwards, but rather inwards. Similar vastu upai
suggests that the door should open towards left and inwards. Vastu for home also emphasizes the fact that there
shouldn’t be anything in front and behind the door for at least 7-8 meters. The entrance space is best left open, for
better intimacy amidst society, visitors and family as well.
During festivals God Pictures can be used used/attached on the
main door with perhaps flowers for dedication or good
faith. However, as per what live vastu states, there shouldn’t be needles pointing outwards and it’s better to use U
shaped hooks for attaching such items. The sharpness of the nail will hamper the essence of positivity that surrounds
the environment.
North vastu, east vastu and south vastu furthermore teaches us the importance of following directions, sleeping in
certain positions and so on to avoid negative impact in our lives. Calendar vastu teaches the importance of time and
planetary alignment because that is what harmonizes the being with the universal phenomenon.
In other words, we can simply conclude that vastu is a way of ridding livelihood evils through simple yet intricate
spiritual or ancient methods.

My main door entrance is located in the South West corner of my apartment. It opens inwards towards the left side. I’m placing a secondary mesh door. Should it open outside towards the left or the right? Also, I’m painting them white. I’m placing a rectangular brown solid wood name plate with just the surname on the left side of the door (since the right side isn’t available). And possibly a tall plant below it. What else should I add? Thank you!
