After eating Muktawati u will have less energy, laziness. This is what I felt when I self medicated myself before detecting diabetes 10 years back. I have eaten muktawati because i felt i have blood pressure. Root cause was high triglycerides and diabetes.But after knowing I have diabetes, with my lifestyle change and food control and without medicine I am feeling healthy, energetic without any medicine. My triglycerides is also normal.

I found mukta vati very instrumental in reducing high blood pressure. It took to my blood to the normal level but i want to make it clear that in addition to taking maukta vati i also reduced salt intake. But as you said it has side effects is also true. The flip side of this medicine that it makes you feel lethargic. Now i am not on medication as per doctor's advice.

You are right Doctor sir, medicine containing serpentine must be taken under medical supervision, and for a short duration only , to be discontinued gradually , once BP is lowered it is to be managed by diet regulation. Similar allopathic medicine is reserpine. A short course of Arjunarista needs to be followed after it for better' results.

I am greatly benefited by Mukta Vati. I was taking Cidmus and Bisoprolol which failed to control my BP. I have been taking Mukta Vati since last 5 months. It has greatly reduced my BP with no side effects. I have stopped Bisoprolol and also reduced dose of Cidmus from 100 mg to 50 mg. I have also undergone Angioplasty 4 yrs back.

Simple advice is ,do not take two medicines I.e.Allopathic and ayurvedic at a time as both of them act together and reduce heart rate and b.p. to very low level....

(1) Brahmi should be taken in the night time otherwise you shall feel drowsy (2) heavy metal content is a big issue in the ayurvedic medicines
