I love multipurpose tools - I have a shopsmith mark 5 - and this one looks great. I like the sliding table design and the long infeed and outfeed. But: this does not look like it has a riving knife. I would not use a table saw without a riving knife or a splitter, and it is illegal to sell on the US without one. Also, I wonder if the base is stable enough for work with heavier pieces; maybe you could add the option of a heavier and more rigid lower frame. For those reasons this exact design is not good for me, but I do think you are on the right track and I wish you success, especially if you continue to improve the design.

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice kzfaq.infoUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
