I'm comparing these 2 products for gluing purposes ONLY.
I love both products but in this video you will see which one is cheaper and performs better.

I had been wondering the same thing (if the two products are basically alike). Thanks so much, and buying the Liquitex makes sense because it's "artist quality". I have used the Ranger multi matte glue, the Art Glitter Glue, Bearly Art Glue, Gina K, and all of them are good glues, but they all show a varying about of sheen if you accidentally get a smudge of glue on your project, and no eraser can ever get it off completely, if at all. I will be investing in a jar of Liquitex Matte gel soon- thanks again, and never worry about pet hair- lol!

Thanks so much for watching & commenting. This video was awhile ago and I STILL use Liquitex for my glue and collage. I also use Collage medium too but it too gives that slight sheen in the light. So I use it for sealing or for collaging. Big fan of the liquid ex as it's great for many uses. Thanks again

I think the reason I get cat hairs on EVERYTHING is because they come off of my shirt which is always contaminated with cat hairs,lol🤣 Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment too 💗🌞

Im so glad. Thank you for saying that and watching/commenting. I also JUST found an identical product in Hobby Lobby this week!. Matte Gel by Masters Touch. I havent tried it out but when i do ill compare that as well to Liquitex and MMM. Im all about savin' loot if possible 👍⭐

Can you thin out the multi medium matte if it gets too thick? It was not used for a while.

That's a good question. I use mine fast do I haven't encountered this issue but since it's a water based medium I'd try adding 1 drop of water and see if it helps. I don't know for sure as I haven't had mine firm up or thicken up on me. Sorry I don't know for sure
