The fact that both these guys say they are paying up to 70p out of every pound in tax makes me realize how I could never relocate my primary business back to the UK. It's just a joke for a country with roads full of potholes, crime and inefficiencies across so many public services. I love my country for what it was but now it's a disgrace.

When you think about a job (just over broke). I have to get up in the morning get ready then drive to work (car and petrol), buy my clothes, be on time and the first entity that gets paid is the tax dept then me (here in Australia anyway as tax is taken out of your pay before you receive what's left over). Then you think about sales tax on petrol, GST, sales tax and stamp duty when you buy a car, house, etc. The government has their hands in your pocket continually.

Of course not. It’s not as if they can say to people: “So folks, you all know we take almost have your money upfront in taxes, but what you didn’t know, is that we also skim 2% off the back thanks to our monetary expansion targets (inflation). By the way, we lied to you when we said ‘inflation is prices rising at the checkout’ actually, when you lose 2%, 5%, 10% of your purchasing power, it’s actually because we’re printing the amount if money you’re losing in purchasing power each year. And yes, this is a feature not a bug!” Inflation = theft! Pure and simple.

Hard disagree on the part about living with your parents until you're 30. As someone who spend some of his 20s living at home. Yes the money might be nice but it'll also damage your creativity and mental health. I will say as well, women really shouldn't be business focused in their 20s. If they want children, they should focus on finding a suitable man (likely in their 30s) who has made a success of things. Women should try to make the most of their biology while young and able. Once the children are old enough to be going to school, then try your hand at things to generate an income.

Well, for now, BRICS nations have decided to facilitate all trade in local currencies. The “gold backed” currency won’t be here yet for a few more years, if ever at all. Additionally, all BRICS nations and those on the waiting list, hold G7 currencies. That is simply not the case the other way around. USD represents roughy 50% of all foreign reserve currency. It’ll likely take decades for that to change.
@PeacockRhino
@PeacockRhino 8 ай бұрын
If the Euro still doesn’t work properly amongst much more similar economies then the idea of a Brics currency in 5 years is a total fantasy. What will probably happen is that they move away from using the USD for settling international transfers and use their own currencies or credits backed by gold for inter-governmental business.
@alansmith5267
@alansmith5267 8 ай бұрын
@@PeacockRhino I think it’s simply too complicated for so many countries who don’t trust each other, who share very few cultural ties, who all have completely different levels of wealth and political will, to all of a sudden launch one “gold backed” currency. If they truly wanted to adopt one currency, then it’d have to be a truly neutral currency, and the only one that makes sense is….I hate to keep saying it….Bitcoin.
