The story of the ML's family - parents and children - is so sad. I couldn't even enjoy the ending because I felt so sorry for the brothers whose lives were so negatively impacted by the father's selfish decisions. The final image of the younger brother realizing he'd destroyed everything he valued for a lie was vividly compelling.

I loved this drama more than others I’ve seen. This one actually made me shed a tear. I was so happy they were able to end up together and the was the ML was so happy at the end!! I cried!! Bai Fangwen is one of my fave actors! Anytime I see a drama with him in it, I will watch!

我竟然第一次觉得虐文男女主最后在一起很正常，我肯定是疯了。这部剧演的好不好我不知道，只是有两点让我出戏。第一就是女主突兀的喊叫声，我不理解为什么摔在软软的床也要喊，又不是毫无防备被摔。第二就是靠近结尾男主助理咬牙切齿的表情，就、说不上的怪异😅

I always believe that if you are a normal human being with your faculties in check, you will never do harm purposefully to others, let alone to someone dear to you that you claim to love. Everything a person does is always a choice, what more if it is to harm others. So it’s always ridiculous when the MLs say that they were lied to or they didn’t know better. Choosing to blindly believe is a choice, and choosing to harm their so called love of their life (FL) without thorough investigations is also their choice. If you choose to hurt others why would you even ask them if they are upset or hate you for it?

It’s dump in another level. The doctor is uncomfortable so say he raped his wife. So he said she was a virgin before. The guy was surprised and believed the doctor. He acted the surprised because he doesn’t want to recognize he raped her. Lack of quality of writing so many medical mistakes. It’s makes no sense jn the drama.

You guys need to buy a dictionary and look up the definition of 'sweet'. It's pretty much the opposite of what this is. Abuse, misogyny, hate, should be your tag line. Don't lie to is and expect us to subscribe to your channel. There are viewers who have PTSD, or trauma that get triggered by things shown in your dramas. You should put warning labels and real definitions on your splash page.

The expression 'sweet wife' is an idiom translated from Chinese. It rarely means sweet in the typical English sense .... So you have to be careful with that word.

Bai Fangwen is an outstanding actor. I wish hollywood would notice him. He is also naturally handsome than the other actors that put make up on their faces. Bai's face is very manly compared to the other asian men that put make up plus he's an outstanding actor among them. Whatever roles, he can portray amazingly!

A great representation of how parents can really f up their kids with their selfishness and hate. These two men grew up not knowing and understanding what love meant so meeting her was like seeing a rainbow for the first time. It doesn’t justify their abusive behavior but I get why. A vicious cycle. My heart broke for all of them but especially for the fl and her friend.

Know this is just another C-🎭 with more holes than a fishnet🤔. Just want to point out a few things 1) the first 48 hours are crucial to solving crimes. If the ML can find evidences that point towards FL’s innocent four years later, he could’ve easily found that proof within two days of the crime…this woman spent four years in prison because of his father’s conniving schemes; 2) as a child ML was holding a knife over his stepmother’s deceased body which they all “assumed” he killed her…if he had stabbed the mother there would’ve been blood all over his face, hand and clothes which clearly shows in the playback he was cleaned as soap😂🤣😂; 3) nobody is going to fall at the knees are a person who took four years of their freedom, additional months after they imprisoned them, barred them from making a decent living, raped, choked, forced marriage, tortured, the list go on😂🤣😂 the screenwriters, directors and ML were getting sexual satisfaction by watching the FL being cruelly mistreated because there’s no other justification for this much torture in less than three hours of filming; 4) since the FL’s role was so nonsensical she should’ve die at the end due to her stupidity; 5) they keeping saying in C-🎭🎭 that they are “raising dogs” not too many people are mistreating their pets because most of them are beloved and loyal friends to their owner…just don’t know where they came up with the assumption people mistreat their “dogs”. When you keep assuming things, you make an a$$ of yourself😂🤣😂 dogs should be banned in this country which lack human decent and the respect of L I F E🤔
