This is actually a comical, hidden identity-version of the “Modern day man transmigrates into ancient times and marries several beauties”-story with decent actors and a storyline of a modern day man who transmigrates into an assassin, who has to take on the identity of his target and marry a Princess. Quite refreshing I think and a great twist about ML towards the end. Well, I had some good laughs but also skipped a bit (too talkative/barking for me). SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! In ancient times, the Crown Prince of Daliang, is hunted by an assassin. When he catches him, he takes away the Tiger Tally, able to command the army, and stabs him - but the assassin is also seriously injured by the Crown Prince. Somehow the soul of a modern day man transmigrates into ancient times (ML). When he wakes up, he has been saved by a Princess of Qingyun. The same kingdom the Crown Prince was traveling towards. And the Tiger Tally is in his possession. Much to his surprise she asks him to marry her on contract since she doesn’t want to marry the man her father, the Emperor, has arranged for her - the Crown Prince of Daliang. Thinking about how to secure his own safety, he convinces her to consummate their marriage in advance, so as to prevent the Emperor from ruining her plans. When he gets in trouble the next day and confronted with an angry Emperor, he ends up “borrowing” the identity of the Crown Prince, using the Tiger Tally as “proof”. Unfortunately, the real Prince’s personal bodyguard soon arrives, threatening to expose ML. But by some odd coincidence, ML looks exactly like the Crown Prince he killed. Soon, ML i caught up in the fight between neighboring states and some very powerful women wanting to be his wife. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.
