Good story and wise ending

I feel like the ending is a bit open ended. I also feel like if she did marry the SML it is just a contract marriage. I also think the FL is not closing the door completely to the ML, but instead she wants him to love her for who she is now and not who she was as a kid. She also felt the same about him. She loved him as a child but has moved on from the past. I do think if the ML were smart enough to realize he needs to stop living in the past and get to know the FL in the present that she would give him a chance, but he is clearly very stupid so it is more likely he will just wallow in regret for the rest of his life. That's a satisfying ending.

Девушка с ограниченными возможностями приходит в твой дом и ты её бьешь плетками? Это нонсенс. Возможно, наши понятия о мире как таковом должны изменится, чтобы понять, женщине многое угрожает за закрытыми дверями. Эта надоедливая сестра, идиотка мачеха... Одна бабушка на её стороне. Концовка однозначно логичная. Всё же лучше без него чем с ним.
