Saint Teresa writings are in themselves so very spiritual and full of beauty and wisdom. When learning of the lives of such Saints, what is astounding is how much God achieves in the life of one soul. How much fruit is borne, and how many souls converted.

She spoke of recognizing, and from time to time I could recognize her being inspired to speak of Scripture in her own way/wording. I have read that during her lifetime (especially because it was the time of the Inquisition), she only had access to very little Scripture.
