except a huge chunk of the canadian forests are brown dominant(go figure) this would work great in texas where theres alot of tree's and vegetation. (yes im canadian,i live in northern ontario(heavily brown dominant) and ive been in southern quebec on the valcartier military base(not a soldier,went there as a cadet)(brown dominant as well,valdor,rouyn noranda,d'aiguebelle national parc,etc,all of which are mostly brown based,daiguebelle has alot more vegetation as the soil there is very wet due to a river they use for bottled water but is still heavily brown),ive been to BC and its more of a mix overthere(theres some arid(theres a desert over in okanagan valley),some green dominant area's and some brown dominant area's),most of the green area's are in the middle of the country and near water,otherwise its pretty much dead brown.

Yes, multicam is made too be a good camo for every environnement, but since that is bascily impossible, the only thing multicam does is stand out in every environnement. Except in desert environnements, but again there's much better desert camo's... so multi looks cool, but kinda sucks.

@@jenspetersen156 -I don’t know what video you were watching, but the multicam blends with much more environments than any other tested. I saw a bell graph generated and it does less well in forested than a dedicated forest camo but since the U S has to deploy to many areas around the earf, multicam wins. That’s why the old forest camo made for European theater was discontinued.

​@@jenspetersen156 It's good for dead vegetation like fall weather with dead grass and poplar forests without leaves. Its pretty awesome for a 3 month period of the year in fall and then in spring again. At least here in Manitoba Canada. I think Italaian vegetato is better but that's about it

Yeah Cadpat is better in densely wooded areas (but MC tropic) is a tougher competitor. I personally Like Pencott Greenzone the best for where I love in Texas.

Personally I find flecktarn the most effective of concealment in the woods

I'm gonna buck the trend and say that I prefer hunting patterns like Realtree over any military pattern - especially the "leafy 3D" suits; they work like a ghillie suit and eliminate any outline.

@@hanburgundy4317 They work great in their intended environments, but so hot as all around camos. They are designed for very close range concealment. Due to their micropatterns, but tend to lac macro patterns that break up outline at longer distances. When you get far enough away and can no longer see the small micropatterns they tend to lose effectiveness and the whole pattern looks like one human shape. Look at most any military camo and you will notice that the smaller patterns make up larger patterns when viewed a little further back. Realtree really works well in hardwoods but much less so in conifer forest and the desert. IMHO.

@@angryagain68 That's not really the case, anymore - if it ever was. The latest of Realtree's patterns are amazing at breakup; AP and EXTRA both render the wearer just about invisible, and the green variants do well in both a vegetative environment or a coniferous one. As for arid environments, the MAX-(?) series works wonders (not sure which, atm - two are for arid and two are for duck hunting/hardwoods/flooded timber).
