Finally! I compared all my multichrome eyeshadows that I own from various different brands. I mostly own loose formulas as that is what first came out. I am very excited about new pressed versions becoming more popular because loose pigments are so messy!
I just wanted to correct myself here, the Dawn Eyes eyeshadows are only a little bit over a year old, but I do think the texture has changed from what I remember when I first got them/used them.
Also Notoriously Morbid offers pressed multi chromes (about the same amount for the same price compared to Clionadh), they are very nice but I ended up selling the shades I had (many regrets).

I prefer the pressed version. Thanks for uploading this..so many indie brands are coming out with these type of shadows and with price point difference..it can get confusing

I like this content! I adore Devinah products, the Xploders bundle is gorg. The JDGlow Galaxy shadows give me life! Looxi Beauty does some lovely pastel to mid tone duo chromes.

Clionahd's formula is so beautiful & easy to use. I have a handful of Dawn Eyes loose pigments (most of the purple/blue/green & pastel pink/blue/lavender shades) but havent gotten around to using those ones because I dont have glitter glue atm & keep forgetting to grab some.😅 Hopefully soon! But Devinah's have been really nice too. I have 4 of the new butterfly multichromes & unf! They're stunning & you dont need a tacky primer. I'm all about multichromes that dont require a glitter glue. I bought one loose pigment from an Etsy seller but cant remember the name...but it's so pretty! Still, havent used it yet though. Thanks for the comparison video! It was very helpful.

Harley Hybrid Clionadh is amazing! I have to use a tacky base on my lids no matter the formula just because I have oily hooded eyelids and my eyeshadow transfers/creases. I haven’t tested the Devinah shades yet but they seem like a very nice formula!

@Harley Hybrid Hi, I don't know if this will help you but I've found that I can use the Dawn Eyes multi-chrome pigments without any base at all. No glitter glue, no primer, nothing. I just pat them on with my fingertip & they're fine. I was really surprised! (I only learned this because I couldn't wait to see how they looked when they arrived so I put them on straight away.)

Thank you for making this video! It's so helpful to see all the swatches & formulas side-by-side. I love multi-chromes but I do not like the high prices. I've only tried Dawn Eyes because they offer the option of the mini/sample size for just $6---I was able to get 4 shades for less than just getting 1 shade from Clinodah. To be fair, it was also before I had found any other brands doing it. I'd like to try other brands but it really is a lot of money to spend on a huge gamble. (I love that brands are starting to press them, though!)

This was so helpful! I've ordered the looxi beauty multichromes and I hope those work out for me (they're pressed and only for $10.) If not, I'll probably order from Clionadh when they have the shades I want in stock/I have the money 🤑🤑❤❤❤

from their instagram, touch of glam's looks similar to clionadh in texture/shine and i'm really close to purchasing one or two for comparison. i want to do a huge duo/multichrome comparison as well with the ones i have so far. i am def not a loose pigment person so i've only got pressed shades with the exception of the multichrome flake i bought from terra moons which i haven't used yet because i'm nervous about dumping it all out on accident haha

Thank you for this ..I really appreciate it bc I've been looking to add to my collection. But hesitant bc they can be a bit pricey also you cant always trust the computer generated swatches so its great to see them live and in natural light. Oh and some of them dont allow refunds at all while others only if you paid for insurance and I prefer not to gamble my money! So these type of videos are VERY helpful for others! 😁

Thanks for this video it was informative so many multichromes now its really hard to choose. I personally like fyrinnaes and notoriously morbid....I think notoriously morbids is intense almost jewel like........and fyrinnaes are easier to work with. but less saturated in color if that makes sense ....still beautiful...... their pressed multichromes are hit or miss in terms that some work great with a brush others need you to use your finger..... but notoriously morbids pressed shades are a dream. well that is all i guess I'm gonna buy some clionahd XD was thinking about terramoons extreeme multichrome bundle =o. but clionadh seems perfect =D

Apparently the ball like texture is so that the oils or emollients in the formula help the pigments smooth on better, as a loose pigment

I do also want to try the devinah galaxy xploders too. Not really sure if they're multichromes bur everytime I see someone show them they look different lol. The shades I like especially are Celesta, Skyla, Asteria and Messier.

I was also disappointed with my Kristen Leigh Premonition. I even got it in the loose form but it still doesn't have much of an effect. I wish Darling Girl sold their super multichrome eyeshadows again. I have Cosmic Dust and Horizon in loose pigment form and they are both super stunning and shift very easily on the eyes.

Glad I'm not the only one with that experience! It looks NOTHING like the swatch and it was very pricey. I love the DG multichromes also! very shifty and from what I remember they were not that expensive at least compared to Dawn Eyes for example.

I will be doing a pressed multichrome comparison video where I will talk about pricing. It's difficult to compare the shades in this video because they might be cheaper but there's also a lot less product and that is why they are cheaper.

Wow just wow, have you tried mixing any tammy shades with a mixing medium then applying to eyes? I want to know if mixing it first them something is the best way to get the payoff

Looove Tammy's Matriarch - have you tried it? Also, they now have pressed pigments too, Naughty Girl is a beautiful classic duochrome. Now waiting my first Clionadh)

I have trouble using tammy.i own those only.how do i get to stick to the skin n get these color payoffs.i cnt figure wat to use as a underbase.i need a tutorial on how to use them .nobody does tht as a tutorial.thr r many videos on swatches though .bt none on use of different underbase n how to use those with such pigments.plz tell me wch sticky base to.tammy looks gorgeous only in the ppts n on website swatches bt cnt get them tht way wen using it

Omg what happened to your Dawn Eyes pigments? I'm def swatching mine as soon as I get home because now you got me worried lol! I purchased mine before the rebranding as well and haven't gotten around to using them as much lately, but they were sooooo shifty when I first got them so I'm currently praying to the multichrome Gods that they haven't dulled down 🙏🙏🙏

planetdweller I’m not sure anything happened to them besides they look a bit more clumpy in the clamshells. They are not as old as I thought! I bought them June 2018, I also still have some of the little resealable baggies that they used to have, I need to try those and see if their consistency changed.

I have mermaze! They have really beautiful duochromes I just forget I have them because I dont like loose pigments 🙈
