2 percent is actually using a common strategy. by sending your weak forces in straight away, even if they don't do anything, will make dents in the resources and defenses making it easier with stronger units.

there is an attack move button use it .. it makes ur ranged units stay in the back shoot while melee charge in

A good strategy is to go for the edges and surround the middle so you know where your circles are. But there is one flaw you have to spread out your army so it’s not constantly moving to defend your circles
