Great stuff :) clear thinking .. easy and light manner (rare to have such a sincere voice discussing the making of a few bucks to cover the bills!) .. i've only recently stripped out my savings to update my studio and place myself in a position to be able to begin to charge for my time and energy .. to date i haven't charged a red cent for the hundreds (thousands?) of hours i've dedicated to all the various artist musicians who've crossed my threshold, all for love, eh :) .. mucho sympatico !!!

Hi David, Thanks for the info. I studied Architecture and am now wanting to swap to music recording, producing and composition at Salford University in Manchester. They are mac based, a 2 year course, feeding the commercial music and BBC facilities down the road. Lekker aksent ek se. Nic

@Geeljasjes The trick is to start with one area at a time. I'm alot like you , I also struggled to understand how the music business worked but slow progress eventually led to success

How can i get to convince a good producer like you to work with me, in terms that i don't have enough cash to pay up for a full project but i have the talent & ability to create music. Important question... how do you find the businesses to do jingles for? I mean, if I wanted to search for a company that need's jingles... where would I begin?
