Multiple people reported injured in shark attacks on Texas beach

Officials say four people reported shark bites off South Padre Island, Texas, on the Fourth of July. Three of them were taken to a hospital and the other was treated at the scene. The attacks are now among at least 15 in the waters off U.S. beaches this year.

Just a Suggestion for Fisherman on beach.. This isn’t first time seeing this situation.. Please 🙏 DO NOT Fish on Any Beaches that have people swimming in and around water areas ( sharks are know to swim on shoreline ) .. The Sharks don’t know We are humans.. We look like Food on top of water.. Fishman ( bait on fishing pole is bringing in fish which in turn Sharks will come in ).: Fishman Please 🙏 go to fishing piers or fishing places for fishermen to fish where NO swimming is at or NOT Allowed at PLEASE 🙏 Thank you!! Also just another suggestion.. some states are checking fishing licenses.. just thought I throw it in here so to save you all a headache along the way.. Be aware of .. It is definitely not hard to get a license.. plus another suggestion.. Be Safe this Summer on Beach People Don’t swim 🏊 n chop waters either under tows .. unless you have been through good swimming lessons and know your waters and areas.. Definitely twice before having fun around water think!! ❤

Shark attacks are still extremely rare. Meanwhile, too many people are dying from riptide drownings which is totally preventable.

Only thing I've bern able to find is they say the same shark bit all 4, it escaped into open waters, and there are no plans to "contain the shark" (I may have snorted when I read that.

Climate changes! Like the FL Keys with the fish dying means that the food chain dwindles as wildlife comes closer to shore to beach themselves driving the predators coastal as well. Stay safe.
