This was so powerful for me. The paradox of the first shall be last and the last shall be first. We've been taught that it's a bad thing but as he states, that's having a servant's heart. A servant's heart makes the difference in being a boss or a leader. If the world can grasp the concept of putting others before them, we could regain the kingdom overnight! Amen, brother! Life expectancy in the past was limited people had to grow up FAST or there would have been no children no people today. Life expectancy happily has increased perhaps that is why children are allowed to be children longer. However I would agree that many parents hamstring their children by NOT LETTING THEM GO.

This is gold. Thank you Uncle Myron. But I have a question. What about when you give and give and put others before yourself and don’t receive much in return? To the point where when you are without, those folk you gave to are not able to reciprocate? I’ve been intentionally selfish for the last few years (not entirely-the work I do makes it impossible to be fully selfish) because I was running out of gas from giving my energy to so many who didn’t reciprocate at a level that could uphold my wellbeing. When you take your energy back, you find that most are no longer available to/interested in being supportive to you. I think you might say God rewards the servants of men and/or that one is serving the wrong people but I’ll wait 💕🙏🏾
