Honestly I don't think ALL of the easter eggs in the trailer are hints for upcoming characters, but rather just random props for world building (though some like PPG and Raven are pretty likely)

The theme for this season is “Puns and Villainy” we already have Jason and Smith for villains, but what about the “puns” half of the season? I think Animaniacs fit perfectly with the theme of puns, and so does Daffy Duck. Those characters are pretty much inevitable with all of the hints in the trailers and fan hype so I don’t know maybe they could be coming soon.

While *Menacing SFX* is hilarious and works well for Jason, I was kinda hoping some voice work could be done by *Pamela* Voorhees Keep in mind, she was the first killer of the series, and is the main reason Jason does what he does. He's a big Mama's boy, after all. So having her give Jason encouragement against Finn and Superman, some of the first people to give him a challenge, doesn't seem all out of place to me. Obviously, there isn't much that can be done with a normal old lady like Pamela for a fighter. But having her snap off because someone hit her sweet baby boy, or making comments about that "rude girl with the sword"? *That* works.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I think the Green Lantern battery being in the Teen Titans Go Tower might also be teasing both Cyborg And Beast Boy. Cyborg for the time he wore a Green Lantern ring in Two Parter, and Beast Boy for both his fake backstory in Orangins and the time he stole Jessica Cruz’s power ring in the DC Super Hero Girls crossover Space House.

I think a cool character to add would be Willy Wonka, def a mage class and zoner using stat changing buffs and nerfs using his candy. Using his cane to attack, maybe his hat as a move, chocolate obviously, etc etc. Preferably Gene Wilder inspired, not directly Gene himself cause thatd be arguably disrespectful, but its definitley the most iconic visually looking Wonka like his appearance in the Tom and Jerry and Wonka movie.

The heavy focus on the water tower stage in the advertising so far already was a good sign, but remembering that the Warners were on the 60+ character list gives me hope that they're being added to the game. I mean the PPG are practically confirmed as playable at this point and they were teased (minus the leak) in the exact same way (famous location in key art, same location in the cinematic trailer, item belonging to the character(s) featured in the trailer), so...

I think Dexter (a mad scientist) and a mortal kombat character like Scorpion would both make a lot of sense for a “villain” themed season. They aren’t directly villains, but they fit the aesthetic well.

I think we have to DM Multiversus' or Player First Games' social: "Dexter Pls" when Dexter is in the game.

The reason for the 1v1 is it was just hard to find people. I forgot who but thwy sais they wanted to do 2v2's but timezones and reviewers didnt allow for 2v2s, I still think its a 2v2 focused game

I feel like speculation is so all over the place at this point that it’s almost impossible to guess who’s coming sooner and who’s coming later. I feel like the only characters that are safe bets for season 1 are The Wicked Witch and the Powerpuff Girls. The Powerpuff Girls were basically confirmed to be happening at some point by Joker’s gameplay trailer, so I feel like they’re probably happening sooner rather than later. I don’t know if they fit the “puns” side of season 1’s theme, though, as I’ve never watched their show. The Wicked Witch was datamined back during the beta, and even had lines, plus her brook was in the trailer, AND she fits the villains theme, so I feel like she’s probably the most likely character to be in season 1. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if none of them got in during season, as speculation is just so wild right now (plus, they might want to save the Wicked Witch to tie in with Wicked, which is what I think they’re probably doing with Beetlejuice). I feel like Poison Ivy might also be season 1, since she fits the villains theme and was datamined back during the beta, but they also might not want to have a second new DC character in season 1, and there’s no evidence for her beyond that, so while I do think she is one of the more likely characters, at the same time, I don’t think she is very likely to happen right now. Other characters I’ve thought COULD make sense for season 1 just based on the villains theme are Pennywise, Vilgax, Walter White, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, The Dead King, Voldemort, Aku Aku, Scorpion or Sub-Zero (both have been villains before), Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, and The Ice King, but honestly, I don’t think any of them are likely to get in right now.

Papagenos, the thing about Marceline's Axe and the Scooby Snax is thery're not normally present on the stage when I went to look at pictures of the stage! Meaning they're details ONLY present for this trailer. I think that's significant.

You mentioned that the Teen Titans stage will be mostly based on Teen Titans Go. However, it seemed like you were implying that there might be references to other shows or sources. As someone who has watched Teen Titans Go extensively, I must inform you that the entire Titans Tower, the Hive Tower, and the background of Titans Tower are all based solely on Teen Titans Go. There are no references to anything else in this stage that hasn’t been in the show. I hope the titans characters we get are a amalgamation of The Comics, 2003 Show and TTG.

I'm more inclined to say Wicked Witch for the broom as her broom has a very specific shape to it ... also, if Harry Potter was using a broom to represent the character, it would probably be much sleeker and be the Nimbus2000 model seen in the first couple of movies. It would also be used to represent Harry himself as he's the one who flies the most and has the strongest connection to broomsticks in the franchise. Although there are 1 or 2 instances in the books, Hermione is not generally associated with a broomstick. Also, chances of the Wicked Witch, assuming she might be one of the villains, being timed to release with the "Wicked" movie in November 2024? That is currently only 6 months away.

my money would be on PPG and Him to be in for now, due to the obscurity of the hint towards Him on the clock tower and how players would not even be facing in that direction. Plus the Octi doll could double as a Him reference since Him possessing the doll was, I believe, His first episode. Mojo-Jojo is undoubtedly more the PPG's arch rival, but I feel he'd be pretty similar to Dexter, so it'd be better to space them out. Also Bunny...I have no speculation on this but if we're gonna get more joke characters, might as well go all in

Is there any real evidence for Emmet in the datamines? The Lego Block asset is the only concrete evidence I've seen, no voice lines referring to the name "Emmet" as far as I'm aware. The rights for the Lego Movie original characters are believed to still belong to WB, despite Universal now having the rights to make new Lego films.

It means basically nothing for devs to have talked about him, but I find Optimus Prime mentioned here kind of funny. I was thinking, "Hey it'd be fun to get Optimus Prime in here," but it also might be a bit redundant what with Iron Giant. I just think it'd be cool if this game could generally dive into films, shows, and cartoons (aside from Disney) and end up sort of being the equivalent for film & TV as Super Smash Bros is for video gaming. And if it did do that, Transformers is a very huge pop culture icon that Disney has no control over. Right now THE most requested character is surely Ben 10. I assume that's what the 60+ list thing is referring to. They did have a spot in the Discord where you could wish for characters that I assumed devs looked at, and I saw plenty of Ben 10. It's so weird to not see Ben 10 at all aside from that. I'm certain that if they're trying to build up hype and expectation for a Teen Titans character getting in, it's Raven. The datamine could be seen as a bit of annoying confirm, but other than that, her Teen Titans Go is probably the one of least resistance, given the options. I am fairly certain it isn't Robin, because showing his face is just too on the nose. However, showing a reference to Raven's pony obsession is a pretty obscure reference that could be missed way more easily. It's strange that Starfire gets so much references, but it's still minimal in comparison, more likely to actually be in the stage as an easter egg.

So Tony ended up retweeting a Tweet on a comment about the Red Planet being likely Mars, aside from referencing Marvin the Martian, they could be teasing other characters that involve a red planet, a Mars Attacks reference perhaps?

In my opinion if the broomstick was referencing Harry Potter, it’d look like the nimbus 2000 broomstick, but that’s a straight up witch broom, I think it’s a hint towards the wicked witch of the west

For the extra villain portals, they could also easily be skins as well and I think that makes it much more plausible. Like, maybe they won't all be playable characters in their own right, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more villain skins for existing characters. Since the trailer had Wonder Woman skins appear and be treated as separate characters (one of which was a villainous version of Diana), I think it is reasonable to assume that those extra summoning lights at the end could be skins or characters.

Ever since the interview with Tony I keep thinking about the fact that he said that characters won't be just random, every character needs to have a reason to be in multiversus and it's story. Like Samurai Jack, he has been back and forth in time and different realities, he makes a lot of sense to be there since he knows how traveling through time and space works. Even Mordecai and or Rigby from Regular Show, they probably get fired the moment they enter a fighting arena iykwim. And then Craig from the Creek, I think that it's gonna be a variant of Craig where he actually does have magic and that he's a mage as he's been playing as one in the show. Dexter and Powerpuff Girls are an even greater pick since they are both in the scientific region of the cartoons, having a father and a scientific brain could help Batman and Marvin a lot on figuring out what the next multiverse issue is for example.

I think that the DC characters are easier for PFG to do since they get the biggest push from WB and get full access to whoever they want now that they've got the five most popular characters.

The "red planet" could be Ysmault hinting at Green Lantern.
