This lady runs a tiny chaat stall in Mumbai to support her family. This stall was started by her husband and he was running it for 15 years. But due to some health condition he's unable to work. So to make ends meet and to support her family in financial crises her wife took the responsibility to run this stall. Coming to the food, you can try the samosa chaat which is her best selling dish and it's very delicious. The making is also very drooling.

Instead of dining in cafe coffee day, Starbucks, and other prominent cafes where you pay minimum 250 for a snack or beverage, I request you all to have a taste of the food which is prepared by street vendors, because they are also running their families and during this Covid time helping the needy by purchasing groceries,food or other items perhaps can become a financial help for them🙏🙏

We go to restaurant for proper hygienic food making process. A restaurant follow WHO protocol and maintain proper control to prevent covid. While these street vendors you will easily get covid from here. Because of crowd and because of unhygienic way of making food with bare hands. I know very well if zomato or any other app shows that a restaurant maintain good standard then it is 100% legit. I get McCain aalo tikki in a burger for just 30 rupees. While on street it will be hand made aalo tikki with dust and without gloves. Totally not cool

@@Piyushrahi Dont think that you always get hygienic food in star hotels, especially in India, they bribe food inspectors, we can never watch what they sre doing in the kitchen. In liw class restaurants you can watch them cooking. But one thing I agree that road side dust while vehicles moving can contaminate food. For this govt should do something to train them to follow safe measures of hygiene and proper covering of food items. In most foreign countries govt arrange some huge areas for this kind of stalls where the chance of road side dust falling on the food never occurs..

15₹ me toh ek samosa milta hai aur kuch jagah samosa pav. So 35₹ is very fairly priced considering she is using butter. I hardly see any margin more than 5₹ per plate

But there is not just butter. There's chutneys, chana, and moreover the fuel she is burning to cook the food as well as labour she is putting into it. She would not be doing this if conditions were different but she is doing this for her family, and that is what matters.

I admire this lady who has been working for last 15 years and taking care of her sick husband and family. Sad part is her progress has been limited in terms of getting some help and doing bigger things and getting her own small place. Fifteen years is a long struggle to stay at one place. If it's not already being done, it would be good to also educate them on the economics of their business such as the profit margin for their dishes....especially when they are using so much butter, dates and other expensive ingredients (the profit margin appears to be very low).
