The Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway has been termed to be a 'game-changer' project.
The Samruddhi Mahamarg or Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway officially known as Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg and Maharashtra Expressway-2 is a partially opened 6-lane wide, 701-km long access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India.
It is amongst the country's longest greenfield road projects, which will connect the two capital cities of the state, its capital, Mumbai, and its third-largest and alternate capital city, Nagpur.
The project is being led by the state infrastructure arm Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC),[6] and is designed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model.

You missed to inform more expresssways recently announced. By 2047 MSRDC will have 5000 kms of access controlled expressways. These includes - Pune Mumbai - Nagpur Mumbai - Bhandara Nagpur - Nagpur Goa - Jalna Nanded - Bhandara Gadchiroli Chandrapur - Nagpur Gondia - Pune ring road - Mumbai coastal road - Pune Nasik industrial corridar - Virar Alibag multimodal corridor - Mumbai Ratnagiri Then there are NHAI access controlled expressways adding around 3000 km to the network. Part of below goes through maharashtra - Surat Chennai - Pune Begaluru - Pune Sambhaji nagar (Aurangabad) - Nagpur Jalgao Dhule All this will complete by 2047 ensuring every district is connected by expressway so that any industry can operate from any place and export from anywhere. The freight cost will be less, goods will be able to send more areas (including remote) and will generate lots and lots of jobs. Next generation will thank these govts.
