Ever since Howard Carter unearthed the mummy of King Tut, in 1922, people have been mesmerized by the mummies and customs of ancient Egypt. But what if I told you, that numerous mummies have been found in rural Indiana, from the earliest settlers, to as late as 2015?
People have speculated that ancient Egyptians explored North America, in antiquity, and have provided many sources of proof. While many North American mummies and puzzling artifacts still exist, others have “disappeared”, despite very good documentation, photographs and thousands of witnesses.
This documentary explores the evidence, legends, and well-respected researchers of Indiana’s early archaeology. It will certainly make you question what we’ve been taught to believe, about our North American past!

I grew up in Southern Illinois, also known as, "Little Egypt." There are caves with Egyptian hieroglyphics that are all over Giant City Park and Shawnee National Forest. There is also an underground cave system that several Egyptian tomb statues and other artifacts were found in (but it sits on private property. Growing up there, my best friend (now my husband) and I would hike in certain caves and out crops looking for anything we could find. However, the town names in Southern Illinois always seemed odd to me. We gave cities named Thebes, Cairo, Karnak, Palestine, Dongola, Metropolis, Lebanon, and Sparta just to name a few. However, the most curious name connection between Southern Illinois and Egypt is found at Southern Illinois University and the mascot.....Salukis. There are many statues of this ancient Egyptian racing dog in both Cairo Egypt and in the British Museum in London, England. The breed was almost extinct if it weren't for SIU and their breeding program that has worked for years to ensure this animal survives. Several former college friends of mine are part of that program and have had one. They are very beautiful animals and having been around them for the past 45 years, are very easy to spot. I've always wanted someone to do a documentary on Southern Illinois and it's odd connection to Egypt. I've seen and read little blurps here there but nothing that was in depth enough to answer all our questions. It just seemed too unreal to me to be coincidental.

I’ve heard many interesting things about Illinois and Missouri’s caves, and unusual artifacts found within. Visiting Cave in Rock and Garden of the Gods, only threw more wood on the fire, for finding more exotic stories! So far, I’ve stayed with Indiana as my focus, but if the channel supports it, I’d truly enjoy branching out! 🙂

@AdventureswithRoger There is a very strong connection between Southern Illinois and Missouri, specifically Thebes. If you look at where this town is placed on the map, it literally sits looking over the Mississippi River at one of the lowest points. Right now, with the River at one of its lowest points, the sandbars are dry enough you can literally walk from there to Cape Girardeau, MO. Garden of the God's and Cave in Rock were two of the places that we visited often. Recently, mounds and rock croppings exposed additional hieroglyphics in the Kincade lake area near the mounds. There is so much about it that connects this entire region; Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Southeast Missouri, and Kentucky to one another through similar findings in caves. There has to be more to this than mere conjecture and coincidence through Native American folklore. When you decide to take shot at this connection, let us know!!! In the meantime, I've got some videos of yours to catch up on!!!

The book "The Mystic Symbol" by Henriette Mertz is about a lady who collected tablets, figurines and objects through Michigan. The Smithsonian poo pood her collection as well. In Missouri also! Some of the 1800’s reports said the artifacts were “Egyptian-like”. Researchers say that much of the worlds early culture was centralized at one place: The Fertile Crescent. It would only make sense that there would be many similar culture representations across the world, as people spread-out. The Egyptian language, art and culture from the classical period, would be a refinement of the former.

Very interesting. I've lived in Indiana my whole life. With the exception of 2 years in Tennessee in my 30's. I've heard the stories of mummies being found. There was an example of an Native American infant mummy in the Tipton County Courthouse in the late 70's. It was later said that it was not in fact a human. I've often wondered if that was not a cover up. I saw that mummy with much intrigue, with my own eyes.

By this point, that could be treated as a felony, given how hard tribes are pushing to have the remains in the hands of museums & clubs in this regions repatriated, right now. @AdventureswithRoger
@AdventureswithRoger 8 ай бұрын
There are two primary suppression theories. #1 The original Smithsonian Board of Regents were largely atheists. Many of the artifacts might’ve been suppressed as they supported Biblical archaeology, or young earth geology, which went against the narrative they were trying to establish. #2 Continued reputation and federal funding. The Smithsonian is not a federally owned institution, but is unquestionably funded by American tax dollars. If the reputation of the organization was tarnished or invalidated by novel artifacts, contrary to their prior publications, it might jeopardize the guaranteed funding it’s always received. Not only that, there is no required accountability for this tax money, that would normally be required, if it were a government owned institution. In other words, millions of dollars are at stake, should the institutions validity be questioned.

She dealt with the Smithsonian hiding these relics as well. Her book is an account of her findings and the unbelievable history hiding that took place in the early/mid 1900's. First and foremost is that "history" is written by the victors. 99% of the reasoning behind why past leaders and "countries" did as they did is fiction. We weren't at war with the country of Germany, rather its leaders; the soldiers were just poor, common shlubs drafted into service (or face possibly dire consequences) as were Americans, and plenty of German citizens disapproved of the war the Nazi Government started but dare not say so.

Roger, your research and productions are the best. I was fortunate to have a scout master who grew up on the Ohio River in Harrison county. He would take us exploring and we would camp on the Ohio River. I found many arrowheads and remember seeing whisky barrels 60 feet high in the trees on the banks of the Ohio from floods. We also explored most of the caves in southern Indiana. It was a great time to be a young man in Indiana! I look forward to to your posts.

There was a culture in the Ohio/Indiana area that was called the Glacial Kame Indians. They buried their dead in glacial deposits and were present about 3,500 years ago to about 2,500 years ago. This is some of the most interesting content here! Really enjoy your videos. I have always found it difficult to believe that, while the rest of the world has artifacts and megalithic structures, North America has absolutely no ancient history at all. Even with ancient civilizations in Central and South America, there is no reason to believe it mysteriously stopped at the Texas border. Doesn’t make any sense. I think a lot of it was destroyed in the early years of American exploration. Don’t know how or why, but with the reckless free-for-all which included the decimation of bison and native peoples, there wasn’t any regulation to preserve anything at all. Trace artifacts and other evidence show the extent of what was here at one time before despite time and man’s careless disregard for the truth.

Same thing with the legendary cave passage underneath the Ohio River, “White man will never find it”. The elder said they could tell you how to tell a male T-Rex from a female. Also I saw a hidden stone city not far from Mammoth Cave, KY and also a strange room underground at Hurricane River Cave. Lots of proof advanced people were there. In the stone city one side of the overgrown entrance was a stone T-Rex the opposite side was a robin etched in stone

I don't mean to burst your bubble, But sometimes we ought to be logical in viewing claims about our history. First of all our human predecessors started existing at around 5 till 7 million years ago. Homo sapiens on the other hand started to exist around two hundred till three hundred thousand years ago. around fifty thousand years ago is when humans started to develop language and then at the one hundredth thousand was when homo sapiens started to move out from Africa to start settling in other continents. On the contrary, Dinosaurs went extinct around 65 millions years ago, There for since the extinction of dinosaurs to the start of human existence took around fifty-eight million to sixty-four million nine hundred ninety-eight thousand years apart. I highly doubt that the elder's claims were true due to the time and space of our existence and the dinosaurs are too far apart. And another thing humans only started to create tools at around 2.5 million years ago, This was before walls and advanced cities were to be built. Cities and advanced settlements were built at 17,000-10,000 bc, There for whatever this claim that dinosaurs attacked an advanced wall civilisation is to me, Bogus.
@charlanpennington3989
@charlanpennington3989 6 ай бұрын
@@kyloren3518 the depictions of the dinosaurs were better than ours. They knew them better than we do. We only found out about the feathers somewhat recently. Unfortunately it is our version of textbook history that is comming to light as bunk. We have bought a long book of lies. For instance one archeologists questioned carbon dating. Found a baby animal. Frozen. Sent in samples as if 2 baby animals. One from the right side one from the left. Suggested date 2000 years ago. AND suggested date for #2 for 4,000 years ago. The carbon dating came back as he suggested. That is exactly what I have been suspecting for 40 years. So we accept we believed the lies the first time and refuse now, or we be ostriches so the favorite books don't have to be rewritten, and the honored authors can keep selling them. Even Leakey has video of 3 famous archeologists at his death bed, listening to his confession of a falsified missing link "Lucy" . He filed and sanded and buried it. Dug it up at 20 years later. WHY? He was afraid he would never be famous. He was afraid the missing link would be never found. BUT at his deathbed he was afraid God would deal with him for his lies. You can hear it in his own voice. He posted it initially. I'm sure it is buried deep. Teaching , using "Lucy" continues. "Science" ignores inconvenient truth.

But, they trusted the wrong person and the entire lot was stolen. never seen again. next time i see him i will try to get more details. the location was northwest florida. a mutual friend of ours is also mad about finding arrowheads. it's not unusual to see him walking the side of the roads (unpaved clay) after a storm. He has such an eagle eye for these things.... i have lived on my homestead for over ten years, the driveway is nothing but packed dirt and clay. during one visit, while talking about the weather and farming he looked at the ground and picked up a flippin arrowhead lol! I was floored! it was in an area we always walked and the kids played in. I guess it finally rained enough to wash away the right amount of dirt. but he inspired me to keep an eye out. a week later i found another one in my horse's pasture where she liked to walk along the fence. imbedded in the clay like it was waiting for me to find it. others in the area will prowl around in farmers fields after they've been plowed, looking for arrowheads. This friend showed me his collection, he has old goldfish bowls FILLED with pottery shards, arrowheads, pipes, beads. he also has some perfectly rounded rocks not common to the area. they're pretty unusually marked, making him believe they were used for a game of some sort. i will try to get more details from him as well, next time i see him.

That quarry in Lake County is an especially unique item. The residents didn’t want the quarry, but they somehow got zoning approved. Then, they dug up a mummy and had to stop everything until a formal study was done. If it was deemed a Native American burial site, the entire operation would be scrapped for years if not permanently. Somehow they rushed the study, reburied “only one prehistoric person”, and restarted operations as if it had never happened.

Hi Roger. I just love ❤️ your ending picture sitting looking out from the cave. I have seen other videos showing what might be Aztec and Templar remains and l believe what we have been told about our past history is incorrect. I truly think the items are in the Smithsonian, lost in a box, sitting on a dusty shelf in a corner. Like always, you have recorded another very interesting subject. Thank you. ❤

This was a great video! The same thing happened to my grandfather in Mississippi....the museum came and got the mummy and all the jewelry, etc. and that was it. I remember seeing it and it was NOT Native American....You could tell it was much older just by looking at the pottery and funeral items. The mummy was wrapped very nicely and had Egyptian symbols all over it. I believe they're trying to cover up the flood and the Nephilim. Where are all the bodies from the flood that drowned? I sure do hope they don't try to clone any of them.(Insert uneasy laugh here) I don't know....i'm just guessing.

I live in NE Indiana. I've seen the skull of a dinosaur from a person who was building a house out here. I've heard of giant skeletons found in Indiana. Now Egyptians. There's a reason it becomes off the grid. We just will never know.

For a fact, a farmer found a mammoth skeleton at Seymour, only a few years ago. It made the news! I made a film about all the Indiana giant skeletons, too many specimens and too many witnesses to be a fake.

I live in in Elkhart and I am familiar with our geography and I find that hard to believe. Lake Michigan and any ice associated with it during the ice age and previous glaciation, would have proceeded and receded thousands of times. What this did to our soil and rocks was pulverization. Not only that but our bedrock is super deep because of those same sediments. All you have to do is look at the ridge that the 20 bypass is built on, it’s mostly natural. That ridge is just one of the ancient dunes from the many different extents of Lake Michigan. How deep did this person have to go? You realize that Dino bones wouldn’t be in soil, they would be in bedrock? Right? The same forces that pulverized rock, would do it to bone.

I read a report from a young Historian who had been hired by the Smithsonian to help catalog there huge collection of artifacts. She said that one day she was told to go to a certain room and help load some things onto some trucks for disposal! When she got there she was told to help load things in large crates which had no tops on them and was told to throw things in the crates or get help to put them in the crates. When they were through loading everything she was told to come with the 3 men who climbed into the trucks and followed the three large moving trucks! She said they ended up at a dock at the bay! She was told to get on board and wait until they reached there destination and then she would be told what to do! They soon reached a point somewhere at sea where the ship slowed down and then she was told to come with one of the men as he began taking things out of one of the crates and began throwing them over the side into the ocean! She asked why they were throwing all of thes artifacts into the ocean and was told to keep her mouth shut and JUST DO AS YOU ARE TOLD so she climbed into one of the crates and lifted a lid and said she saw a giant of man’s skeleton encased in bronze armor and she asked again why they were doing this as the armor looked like it came from somewhere in Greece or ancient European sites? She said He stated all of this junk could destroy there narrative for Evolution if it got out that the history as we tell it was not the truth and it would destroy everything we have been striving for! She said that she thought that people had a right to know the truth! He told her that the TRUTH was what they said it was not what stupid people think it is and if she ever wanted to ever see her name published she had better get with the program and do what she was told or her career would be finished and she would never get hired ever! She then did what she was told but the suit of armor and all of the other things she had seen thrown into the ocean shook her to her bones as JUST PLAIN WRONG and she found that she could not keep quite about it! She had aske the man she was with on the boat how long had they been doing this and said 2-3 times a year at least since he working there and he had been there nearly 40 years! When she got back to the Smithsonian she packed her things and told her supervisor that she had changed her mind about working there and she quit! She then went and talked to a friend who then published her interview with him! She had never been hired in her profession in history in nearly 3-4 years so has decided to do her own research on the things she learned about at the Smithsonian and what the do to destroy and hide true history and warns everyone to never call for help from anyone who has ever worked for them or from State Museums who are affiliated with the Smithsonian as they push Evolution but not REAL History! DO NOT TRUST THE SMITHSONIAN EVER!!!!

Great video, well done. I'm an artifact hunter here in KY. I've been to so many places that are so beautiful. And when you're there, you know that this place is special. You've got my wheels turning. And sadly, you're correct about the scientific community that look down on amateur archeologists/explores of the past. When in fact we find a lot on our own. Thanks again. P.B.

I enjoyed your video on mysterious disappearing mummies of Southern Indiana. With the dates and locations and names of geologists you supplied i believe that David Dale Owen and Edward Travers Cox may be distant cousins of my husband. This info was gleaned from Family Search. You've been helpful in the past with my search for relatives in Southern Indiana. Thank you. nterested in the ancestry of my family it's possible ( without definite proof) that David Dale Owen and Edward Travers Cox are distant cousins if my husband.

The Smithsonian has large storage warehouses around Maryland and those things that are crated there are not displayed. My mom had an internship when she was in college and she would go with her boss to visit. He used to show her things that she thought were almost unbelievable unless she had seen them herself.
