I would have done the onions first since it doesn't take but a few minutes to cook. The shrimp should have been close to last.

I'd really like to know why type smooth top stove this is. You put plastic near the burner and it doesn't melt, there's no rings or anything around the burner. You cook a lot abd it still look brand new.
