I was an extremely fussy eater when I was a child (my poor mother!). But I agree 100% that using fun shapes, like the cookie cutters, for sandwiches would have completely worked for me. ❤️❤️❤️ even if there is waste it’s better that your child eats something then nothing at all. I absolutely love the sistema boxes. Specially around this time of year they're on promotion! My kids are 13 and almost 15,we ve been home educating for years and they still like fun 🥪 shapes. I use flowers stars hearts and circles. The "homemade lunchables" are always a hit. They're enjoying tuc biscuits instead of mini cheddar s lately

I've just ordered from tesco with his lunch box in mind. Having been on school dinners, this feels pretty new, one thing I've noticed is the lack of time to eat, hes bringing stuff back as they really dont get long at all. Plus he probably chats 🤣 he likes wholemeal bread, but not the crusts, I've bought tesco yogurt pouches & cereal bars, i use muffin cases to separate fruits, salads, cheese etc. I've bought mini juice bottles as his sippy cup takes up a lot of room. Everything gets sent home for the bin, and i used a juice cartoon not thinking, so we had a leak 😯 i keep house snacks & lunch box snacks separately so we don't run out of lunch supplies. I might try the tesco biscuits.

I'm in Derbyshire and our school aren't offering hot dinners at the moment but they are providing what they call grab bags which apparently contains a sandwich fruit and a drink so I'm sending packed lunches at the moment so I can give my son a bit more food he's coming home so hungry so thank you for the lunch ideas xxx

My minis love the oatcakes. We have always had them since they were toddlers. They also do chocolate versions in another brand which are a healthier alternative to chocolate biscuits

Mine won't have tuna in packed lunches as it smells I do the houmous in tiny pots I have it saves it touching the crackers Thanks for sharing 👍

We have quite a few sandwich boxes, it was a bit of a shock at the start of lockdown when all the boxes and bottles were in the cupboard at the same time rather than in rotation.

I'm so thankful that school dinners are being offered, in fact it is the opposite here, they aren't allowed packed lunches, school bags at all except for exceptional circumstances. I'm not sure how my little boy would manage with a packed lunch, he really likes hot food and will barely touch a sandwich 🙄
