By Indian standards, this man is a red flag written all over him. By Pakistani standards, he is average "masculine" Pakistani. Even this drama serial's ultimate message is to "adjust", and the lead female character even passed on this message to her daughter during the latter's marital problem.

His behaviour is toxic. Adjustment to waha hota hai jaha pyaar hota hai.. the way he treated durr e shehwar must never be normalised.

Thank God he didn't say "mujhe saans lene wali ladkiya achhi nahi lagti hai". And it was so sad when she said "ahista ahista mera shauq bhi khatm ho jayega". So many girls go through this. Never maks yourself smaller to fit another person's ego. If they are a right person for you, they will expand their horizon, not ask you to reduce yours.

This should be watched by all the guys who say women are gold-diggers... when women say they want a man who has a job and from a family of the same financial status that she belongs too or upper class... cuz when a woman from a upper middle class family or upper class family is married to a financially lower class family...things shown in this serials happen and the girl is slowly pushed into depression...because it's always the women who have to sacrifice for the family

Hell true. This is why many girls are getting old without getting married nowadays because we refuse to go through such torture. We belong to upper middle class and my sister had been married off to a lower middle class man. She has been through hell, still going through it. It is much much worse than shown in this drama.

Toh usne apna shauq chora nhi, ab zidd krke ghumane le jata hai 😅😅😅😅 Ladki ko phle se smjh jana chahiye tha, instead of killing her hobbies for her fantasies. Isme ladka bhi galat nhi hai, he struggles to become something. In that scenario, you don't have time for luxuries, because struggle takes up all your time. But he was wrong to marry a girl, who was not used to such lifestyle. He should have actually chosen a life partner with whom he had a tuning, who would understand his struggles

This guy is a narcissist. By some fortunate twist of fate he got this great girl. Men and women both deserve to be cherished by their partner. But this guy was plain ignorant towards his wife because he saw his mother being neglected and overworked throughout his childhood. Also his parents instead of guiding him encouraged him to disregard his wife. The only saving grace was his taking her with him at the end. Thereafter Shehwar was free to pursue her dreams.
