Yep...so I have a connection flight in Munich to Milan coming from London with 2 hours in-between flights, which I probably guess its enough to explore terminal one and do some shopping:) Very helpful video...thank you.

Er, wie mir scheint ein netter Mann übrigens, hatte definitiv das gleiche Problem - ohne das er es merkte wie ich: Wenn er sagt, es gäbe hier nur eine Ebene, dann war er weder im Check In Bereich noch bei den Gates. Der Flughafen ist ein Witz, einmalig sonderbar und so extrem kompliziert gestaltet, dass man den Check in Bereich, wo man sonst von alleine drauf stösst - Notfalls fährt man ne Etage hoch - die Aufgänge einfach nicht findet und dann sooo langer Fussmarsch zum Gate- kann 1 km sein und völlig einsamen verwaisten Gängen mitten am Tag, dass man Panik bekommt, man hätte sich verlaufen und echt ohne Not im Stechschritt marschiert ! ! Übrigens, ein häufiger Kritikpunkt des Flughafens! Das T2 der LH ist hingegen normal ! !

18:00 jeweils eine Runway links und rechts im T2 wird neben Lufthansa und Star Alliance und der Tower ist der 2.Tower auch Vorfeldtower genannt aber gutes Video ich bin öfters dort und liebe diesen Five Star Airport

Hey Könntest du eine Flughafen München Tour 2021 machen! Wäre spannend den gesamten Flughafen inklusive Terminal 1/2 und den Flugverkehr ( bisschen Spotting ) in Corona Zeiten zu sehen

5:28 Terminal 1 hat 2 Stockwerke, durch Rolltreppen und Aufzüge gelangt man in das 2. Stockwerk Da sind dann auch die Sicherheitskontrollen

Also mit S- Bahn hat Terminal 1 3 Stockwerke Im obersten Stockwerk sind wie gesagt noch weitere Check in Schalter und die Sicherheitskontrolle n sowie Boarding Bereich

Also mittlerweile ist Terminal 2 aber deutlich größer als Terminal 1 wegen des neuen Satelittenterminals Aber beide eigentlich gleich wichtig Terminal 2 ist für Star Alliance und Terminal 1 für alles andere

Naja...T1 war zumindest "länger", ob es überhaupt größer war als T2 (also ohne Satellit) ist die Frage. Man darf den zentralen Check-In Bereich im T2 (flächenmäßig) nicht vernachlässigen. Mit dem Ausbau jetzt könnte es vielleicht größer werden. Aber für den Satelliten gibt es ja auch nich eine Erweiterungsoption

Hello. first of all thank you for the video. I want to ask a question. we will go from turkey to toronto by munich airport transfer. The plane will land at Munich Terminal 1, and we will transfer to Toronto from the second terminal. Will we be able to pass directly to the 2nd terminal without passport control? Is there a transit pass between the terminals? and are the two terminals close to each other? Can we go on foot? Thank you in advance.

Hi, as far as I am concerned there will be a free shuttle to Terminal 2 which you will need to transfer

There,s no conection between terminal 1 and two,you might use the schutle bus from 2 to 1 but going to 2 from 1 you have to go through customs get out ,walk arround then go to t2 again customs and headaches ,not good for transit passengers.

You can just walk between terminal 1 and 2 by foot

@@saarland2china, you are right, walking between the two terminals is easy, but Simy Ryan mentioned there's no walking connection between the two terminals without going landside and having security checks again, so the potential better option is the shuttle bus.
