Wow: really artful color schemes, intriguing casting coupled to nice acting, and the guitar driven score is ideal for how it sets a mood and adds expression.

As the adage goes, the best things in life are free...and it couldn't be truer than in the case of your short films, including this one. I enjoyed this one immensely and thanks so much for sharing this story. What the character of "Tyler" tells his friends (excluding Zachary) is absolutely right. Tyler may have served six years in confinement to protect his friends, but they, in turn and in time, became inmates in prisons of their own making. With their poor choices, their deferred dreams/aspirations, missed opportunities, and one excuse too many. And on top of all that, a great deal of ingratitude for the blessings, including a job, in their lives. Much respect to the crew, cast, and writers who put this extraordinary project together. I wish them much success in future endeavors akin to this.

@@stevenhellmann4068 It's really my pleasure, Steven:) I really did enjoy and appreciate your use of your character study of "Tyler" (or rather a metaphor) to illustrate the importance of breaking out of our self-imposed or compulsory imprisonment to be more than what we are. Having watched the movie, I also think that "Tyler" is there at the dinner table to serve as a *mirror* , challenging his friends (and Zachary) to not only look at his redemption from his six-year prison sentence, but to really look at themselves and strive to make better choices with their lives. Steven, your story really has me thinking and talking and I appreciate you in kind for it. I wish you much success with your future cinematic projects, sincerely hoping they grow with the same impact I experienced with "Taking the Fall":)

@@tlovestea423 Thank you so much! I wrote and produced the movie along with making the turkey! And yes that's correct we shot the film in eight days! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)
