it's honestly not as complicated as you think, it's not as if he was playing all these at once lmao you just layer different noises with different chords pretty easy tbh and his mix is totally off the kick is unbalanced.

you sure that shits not your headphones? im using sennheisers with a dedicated audio card and it sounds at least in the ball park its not throwing off the balance of the rest of the song and i like the mass behind the bass because it really shows its absence in the middle of the song when there isnt much low end

01100011011101010110111001110100 you are one of those guys who has gone far into audio engineering and now judges music by the quality of its kicks etc, saying something is simple for not using many plugins and so on. What you haven't yet realised is that this man manages to compose these beautiful melodies on top of melodies and envoke these beautiful emotions in his audience. Now if you really are the music guru you make yourself out to be, there would be no confusion in that this is an incredibly well composed piece, despite how "unbalanced" the kick may be

I am in love with the way you guys mix this. Down to that vinyl crackling everything is so clean and soundly highlighted. Accentuated usage of reverb and rooms and everything just fits together. A mix like a clean cubistic oil painting. Love it.
