FIFA implemented new regulations in response to concerns about the quality of representation players were receiving from agents. These changes included new licensing requirements for agents, an end to multiple representation, a new cap on agent fees, and more. The changes were discussed for years, and not all agents were happy about them.
Today I would like to share my experience of taking the new FIFA Agent Exam. In this video, I will talk about why FIFA implemented this exam, how I prepared for it, and what my experience was like.

Hello Sam! Congratulations on passing the exam. Thank you very much for sharing this very insightful story. It is inspiring. After watching this video, I am motivated and determined to take this exam in September. In Cameroon, all the candidates that took the Exam in April failed. I want to enter history as the first or one of the first candidates who passed this New FIFA Licensed Agent Exams. I hope we work together to make this dream happen.

Hi Sam! Congrats on passing the exam. I’ve done the research and there is many of these courses on the internet but thanks to you I found the one. I’m 21 , so pretty young but I’m very passionate and also multilingual so maybe it is a good age to join the industry. Is there are any other things I can do apart of passing the exam?

Hey! Thank you for the content. What if I pass the exam and get the license but don’t need the license immediately. Does that mean I still have to pay the annual fee to maintain the license? Or can I skip some of the years I won’t be working as an agent and start to pay when I start working as an agent?

Hi, Nice video! Quick question though. Once you apply to take the course do you have a specific time you have to complete the course or can you take as long as you like ?

Hi, yes you need to complete the test in 60’min. So you have an average of 3 min per questions. Considering that the questions are sometimes very long and you need time to think, it’s not a lot of time..

Thanks! But I meant from when you register to do the course to when you book for the test. Do you have to learn the content within a specific time or can you take as long as you like please ?

@@henryking5976 how sorry, no there is no time so you can register for the course and study for 1 or 2 years or more as it's lifetime, if you want to speak to the guys of the course directly I will be happy to put you in contact with the owner that is an agent himself. It really depends on the questions you get on the day of the exam, but for sure the more mock ups exams you pass the more ready you are for the exam.

I have a question : I am completely new in the industry and I aspire to become a football agent in the future. I am planning on taking the exam next year APRIL since the immediate exam is too close. Hi Sari, I'm glad the video was useful. By the way don't assume that the September exam is too early as with the right program you can prepare in 2/3 months. Regarding the general tips, I will be uploading a video in the next 2 weeks that will focus on how to start in the football business in general. I would start learning about scouting and the work as an agent, go to matches, do reports, talk to people that are in the business on twitter and linkedin and at the stadiums. Understand what the market needs and what value you can bring to the table, It's a long Journey. It's not easy. Hopefully the next video will give you more info on this. Good luck

congrats Samuele: i have a question, when the license will be issued, i passed the exam with success and i want to issue contract now, am i allowed to issue contract now or have to wait till a license number is issued or i have to wait to have a physical card? I received an email saying that i am a Fifa licensed agent but nothing else, no number no physical card........What to do if i want to issue a contract now? thank you in advance

Hi Idris, thanks for your question. So Everything will come into place on the 1st of October 2023, and I imagine that is when we will be given a FIFA License number. If you want to do a contract before that date I would recommend contacting FIFA to see if there is any solution in case you are not registered to the federation of the nation where the deal is done. Yes it took ages for mine as well, but if you registered you should be fine, i didn’t hear about someone not admired yet.. so should be all good. Good luck with the exam 😊

@@c.h.4351 yes it's the same for every country, maybe different fees in some countries but to before you take the exam you must pay a fee and then if you pass the exam you pay another fee to hold the license,

Is it even worth it being an agent now man,Fifa leadership is so out of touch just like other administrators,they see what the 1% of the 1% make and just slam down the earning caps,how much does an agent with 3rd division clients earn?bug clowns man

it's a very good question and a very good point. For sure the narrative has to change as at the moment people just think of agents as the top 1% earners as you mentioned. Having said that, it is worth it if you really love the job, if you like working in football as there are many good agencies out there that need support and good agents. So the answer depends on what you are looking for. If you are doing it to get 1M fee in your first year, then you are in the wrong place ( 99% of times). But you highlighted something very interesting there.
