Although this knive is really good looking and performing really well, I'd save up for a bit and still go for the Takeda. But thats just my experience with his knives, I'm in love with his work. Furthermore, he does take custom requests/orders for knives with other dimensions if you contact him (just to let you know).

Thanks for the closer look. I may have to get one of these too. I really do mean to save up for the Takeda Nakiri but I recently picked up the Murata Funayuki and it's been a pleasure to use so far.
