Hello guys. This "Wooden Dowel Making Tool" I made turned out really well. We can make wooden dowels with diameters of 8mm and 10mm, but the number of diameters can be increased by changing the dimensions of the wood and aluminum plate used. There is also a "Wooden Dowel Sharpener" section on it. Thanks to this section, we can properly round the end of the square-section lath. This not only makes it easy to enter the dowel hole, but also makes it easy to attach to the drill. You can download the measurements prepared in PDF format from the link below this section, as always.

İlginiz ve güzel yorumunuz için ben de size teşekkür ederim Mustafa bey. Gerçekten güzel çalışan bir alet oldu. Ben 8 ve 10mm kavela kullandığım için bu ölçülere göre yaptım ama isterseniz daha kalın da yapabilirsiniz. Bu arada elimde videoda gösterim yapacak gürgen veya kayın agacim yoktu, çam ile gösterim yaptım ama kendim gürgen ile de denedim. Hiç sorun olmuyor emin olun. Tertemiz çıkıyor. Zımpara yapmaya da gerek olmayacak. Tekrar teşekkür eder iyi günler dilerim

I admire your ingenuity, but sometimes I get mad watching your videos-- Why didn't I think of that? Simple design, very rugged, and obviously when a blade gets dull, you just loosen a couple of screws, slide out the old blade, and slide in a new one. Cheap and easy. For different-sized dowels, say 3/8" or 1/2", I could just use different drill bits. Thanks so much for making and sharing this video.

Thank you too for your nice comment. I have not seen anyone else use this method to make dowels. It's a system that works really well. Note the blade angles. Excellent results are obtained in hardwoods like hornbeam. Thanks again. Greetings from Turkey 👍

Hello. As you said, it produces very smooth dowels. It's also simple and inexpensive to replace when the blades get old. You can find the PDF plans in the description section.

Murat Kardeş, This is by far the most efficient dowel jig I've seen to date. Simple but very well thought out. And I particularly like the fact that you can replace the cutting edges, because they will become blunt after a while. Well done, Murat kardeş, well done.. Hola. No digo que lo haya hecho yo mismo... es una herramienta realmente buena. Se pueden hacer tacos perfectos y las cuchillas se pueden reemplazar fácilmente cuando se desafilan. Sinceramente, llevo mucho tiempo usando los cuchillos y todavía no se han descolorido.

Aynen Aziz hocam. Kalemtıraş bölümü sayesinde, bıçakla uçları açmaktan daha kolay ve daha düzgün iş çıkara biliyoruz. Ayrıca uzun çubuklarda aşırı yalpalama olmuyor.

Очень грамотный и техничный подход! Отдельное спасибо за чертежи. Я бы еще сделал точилку для карандашей. И все же поставьте расклинивающий нож на циркулярку. Новые пальцы все же не отрастут. 🤝
