I think my favorite thing about this series is that each episode is a parody on an existing horror movie. Episode 2 is parodying The Thing, Episode 3 is Carrie, Episode 4 is either Friday the 13th or Sleepaway Camp, and Episode 5 I’m pretty sure is The Shining

In episode 5 the “shadow people” are actually humans, there just only showing them as silhouettes. Either because it’s too hard to make humans in this style without making them look weird or it’s supposed to show us that the drones don’t even see them as humans.

V actually was responsible for what happened to Doll's parents. Sometimes it can be a little confusing with presentation admittedly.

Okay so the shadow figures are humans, its simply a stylistic choice for ease of the animation process as well to keep a consistant design among characters. I imagine it be hard to animate humans in this style and keep it consistant within deadlines. Tessa's comment about humans can be misconstruded easily, its implied she doesnt interact with fellow humans much and identifys with her drones more.

Tessa seems to only have drones as friends, thus the "humans are coming" since she's talking to the N and others. She was chained to the wall too, what ever is going on with that might prevent her from socializing. Also the two lines beneath her eyes made her looked more shocked as her mom talked about getting rid of the "broken" drones.

Season 1 is going to have 8 episodes and considering how great Murder Drones is doing season 2 is most likely going to happen after The Amazing Digital Circus.

I believe the reason for the shadow people in Episode Five is the memory file being corrupted. N doesn't remember what they look like. Tessa did say "There are humans coming!", but I think she was basically saying that she's only ever interacted with robots her whole life.

Fun fact: There are multiple dubs for this episode. All are High quality dubs, you can switch it in the settings of the video. And in the Russian Dub, Doll speaks in English.

So, what is the difference between murder and zombie drones? Zombie drones are infected robots, and they are controlled by a program, and the murder drones' job is just simple kill all workers because that is their order from the company.
