Murder Nova brought both of his cars to Outlaw Armageddon 4

Watch as Shawn Ellington brings out both of his Nova's to the Outlaw Armageddon 4 No Prep race at Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, Oklahoma.
He had his friend Phantom drive the original Murder Nova with small tires on it and Shawn Ellington drove the New Murder Nova in the big tire class and Invitational Race.

The OG Murder Nova is all black front end with the hole cut in the hood the New Murder Nova has the hood with no hole and has the Chrome front Grille

Was just about to comment the right answer because the hood you can because it was procharged at one point and had that bulged the turbo might of used the buldge to for the intake tube but it started with the procharger. Also you can sell by the doors the new ones paint has a slicker smoother look and you can tell by the grills there different colours if you look close

Thank you! And that would be pretty cool if it did have a Coyote motor in it. From looking at the size of the exhaust pipes coming out it might just be a 4.6 or the Coyote 5.0 and a good cam in it. And not a crazy big block. But it did have a large rumble noise coming out of it when it drove by me in the pits and I thought dang I could feel that vibration in my chest it was so loud.

He keeps going 1/4 way down the track after every burnout. Could the tires be cold again by the time he finally lines up at the line? Is that why he keeps blowing the tires off?

Possibly, but it was 93 degrees that day so I'm sure they didn't really even need to do much of a burnout to heat them up. Fans love the long burnouts though. Or at least I do, ha ha.

There is three major giveaways between the new nova and the og 1. Throttle body sticking out of the the hood (old nova) 2. New nova is big tire 3. The old nova has a blacked out grille

Thank you, and yes it was blazing hot. But as I kept saying while I was there that it was not as hot as when I was in Memphis last month. So if you look back at the videos I released from that track, it was 97 degrees both days and I was out in the sun for 8 hours each day. ha ha, that was a survival kind of day.

Don’t know if it’s true but when he first got the car put together he had a fun race with either farm truck or Azn can’t remember which one and it was aired in season 10 but at the time he mentioned it only had a V6 in it. Don’t know how true but didn’t seem like he was joking when he said it was only a V6. If someone wants to go back and look I think it was either 2nd or 3rd episode from the last in season 10. Lol, ok after watching it in this video it definitely doesn’t sound like a V6.

Shawns Dad ain't no fool. He kept it all Ford as it should be. I watched something about his truck and they were talking about the Coyote motor being in his truck. Not sure if that is what is actually in it but it sounded to me like that was what they were saying.

RCLegion 4.6 was used in several ford vehicles. Crown vics, mustangs, trucks, however I believe the Coyote is based on the 4.6.

Dan Dunning the coyote is different. You can't just drop a coyote in something with a 4.6 , it doesn't just bolt in . The coyote is much better than a 4.6 or 5.4 which interchange between vehicles with little mods. A coyote is totally different.

batman5738 0906 Yes I know I never said that you could just drop one in. I said the 4.6 is a common V8 in Ford's large vehicles and trucks including the Mustang. The Coyote is much wider and taller. So I'm not sure what your trying to correct me on because I never said you can just bolt a coyote in something that had a 4.6 ltr. Although I think the Coyote was based on the 4.6 design when it was built.

I'm sure it's a ton of power but Phantom looked lost as hell in that Car and I agree I bet shawn was dying watching him attempt to drive it and failing pretty bad.
