A missing persons case of a local cowboy quickly becomes a homicide investigation when officers discover his disembodied torso in a field and the rest of his body scattered across four regions. With an idea of who the killer is, investigators turn to forensic science to gather the evidence needed to bring the killer to justice. In Canada, two family members die unexpectedly from unknown causes. A silent killer lurks among a family.
The New Detectives is a documentary true crime show that features reenactments of events surrounding a murder and follows police departments as they solve cases using forensic science.

This poor man and his family... my sincere condolences. 😢 It doesn't matter how long it has been.. as a bereaved mother myself, you NEVER get over the loss of a child. Yes. My friend is still very deep in grief. She had been so happy, with 3 healthy adult kids and a husband she loved so much, until her middle child died. My heart just breaks for her. ❤❤❤

That guy from India was a serial killer, and even though he was only charged with 2 deaths, I have no doubt he also killed his wife and twin boys in India. Thank God the insurance adjuster remembered the earlier payout and had the deaths investigated. The detectives were definitely top-notch and didn't stop until they had the proof so that justice could be served! Thank you!!

@@Ang85323omg…my ex-husband did the same! When I got away, and got to my hometown several states away, my skin was almost gray! I had put a half a million dollar policy on myself through work, but no one knew about it except my mother. I was put on life support for a type of brain tumor in 2011 that caused issues that put me into a seizure. If my ex had known about it, I’m pretty sure I never would’ve made it to the hospital and wouldn’t be here now! I’m so glad that you’re here, and I hope you don’t have any residual issues from everything!!

I am pretty sure that is always the case. He either signed or she forged the signature. Don't take the narration too literally. What is weird about this case (that maybe she didn't know) is that you can't collect the insurance without a body or a declaration of death which happens many years later.

If he wasn't cut up inside of the house, but cut up inside of the horse trailer, then where did all of the blood evidence come from inside of the house? That doesn't add up to me .

@@Hannahcode1 I surmise that the body was so crudely drug out of the house it caught on the bedroom doorway and the shear force of the pickup mangled and broke the body leaving a blood trail. I think this is why in the recreation they showed her tying the rope around just his waist as this would likely result in both ends of the body impacting both sides of the doorway. If it was facing toward the door this means the legs and head would be broken and the bone would have ruptured the skin - hence the blood trail down the hallway.

Who lets their cattle eat painted wood? I mean it might have been accidental, but it ended up in the horse trailer😮 Cattle do what we call « crib » but not if they are fed well. Anyway, that evidence was brought to court, and solved this situation …. but, still… but folks should feed their animals enough so they don’t eat wood. Oh, yah he was a long haul trucker so he had to stay away and she probably didn’t feed them.

Why is that? I've only known 4 people in my almost 45 years of life who have owned horses and they loved those horses more than anything else, including their spouses or children. And all of those people were nasty human beings.😂 I don't belive everyone who owns a horse is ugly but man my experience is just that! Weird@@KatJ3st
