@@colacoke2102 Yeah, because one plan in mind was to tie in the whole 'Mr Chips into Scarface' route they were pitching by having the stories end in a similar mass death way. That's why there's also that scene in Season 5 where Walt and Walt Jr are watching Scarface and Walt praises the movie for having everyone die in it, as it cuts to Skyler looking on in horror. Looks like a red herring now, but in the past in the writer's room could've been a usage of foreshadowing.

@@murgeproductions an everybody dies ending is great I would imagine, a neighbor hears Holly crying after Flynn and Skyler were shot and then a police car was chasing Todd the two men died leaving only Todd who crashes his car and succumbs to his wounds, the police later have a shootout with his gang and they die, and from the evidence they find Lydia who tries to run and gets shot for it

It actually worked out quite well for him in the end. He realised that Jesse did not deserve to die and finally let him walk his own path after all the manipulation and lies. That is what it they were trying to convey when Walt slid the gun over to Jesse and he said do it yourself showing that he had finally broke the cycle and thought for him self. Could not get a better ending in a series if you ask me.

I mean he went through horrible things that no one could imagine going through. But he found peace in the end.

My take 1st one- Walt would just escape with his family after scene in desert with Gus using vacuum cleaner man 2nd one- Walt would be either caught withing weeks by police (like Saul say) or Walt and Jessie would make enough money that money, split ways and Walter would've been killed by Salamanca twins (since there's nobody to protect him) 3rd is too big of change to explain it quickly so that'll be a very good idea for the video 4th would force Hank to give up on trying to get Walt since there's nobody left to help him get him, giving Walt a pretty good ending where he can leave money for his family

Well the writers originally wanted Tuco to kill Jessie at the end of season 1 so it would be interesting to see how that might have played out

Hard thing about this one is that it's very hard to write for since basically everything we know about Hank would be different. The best way to do it would be to extract Hank's character flaws from the show and make them the underlying reason he breaks bad, but I think with what we know of him, if he truly were to break bad, it wouldn't be by organizing a drug trade. I guess if Walter was indeed being forced and was the same guy, he'd probably kill Hank eventually. Hell, he'd probably kill Hank anyway even if not being forced because well that's Walt.

That would require an entirely different show. You’d have to completely rewrite both characters and the story would be entirely different. The main aspect of the show is how Walt at first begins out of desperation but decides against immediately exiting because his pride makes him see earning more in his passion field and solving the problem legitimately as unacceptable and chooses to continue to pay for it. And we see how it grows. Hank is key because he’s over the top straight arrow, refusing to give up on the case despite everybody in the DEA pushing him to drop it. Hank is needed because without someone so committed to justice walt would’ve never been caught. So it’s hard to consider because it flips the key story aspects entirely.

After watching this I've realized Walt falling for Hank and Jesse's trap (canon plot) would have been a better outcome as this alternate history shown above is dark enough to begin with, plus his family doesn't get the money he'd worked on.

You say he wouldn't forsake his bond with Jesse and order his death except he literally did just that in the show when he went to Jack to order a hit on him after Jesse refused to meet with Walt and instead phoned him to threaten him. Then later during the confrontation in the desert when Jack was about to leave Walt said he still owes him for Pinkman and pointed him out hiding under the car, and he was literally standing there watching as they were about to kill him execution style before deciding to take him alive first to figure out what he told Hank & Gomez. As they were taking him away Walt confessed that he stood there and watched Jane die by overdose instead of saving her. As much as he cared for Jesse he was more than willing to not only order his death but stand there watching it happen and then mentally torture him. Now this what if covers Walt already putting out the hit on Jesse after their failed meeting. When Walt learns that Jesse is working with Hank and the DEA to take him down this would further his commitment to having Jesse killed both to in order protect himself and for the betrayal he would have felt. The what if also highlights that despite ordering his death he still cared about Jesse felling guilty over his death. This is completely in character for Walt, he felt Jesse had to be killed for what he had done but still felt guilty and sad over it due to his previous bond with him.

Jesse is free, walt jr is gonna get paid, Todd and his crazy family is dead, and Walter died in a meth lab. This ending is not happy at all. A lot of peoples lives are ruined and people are scarred for life, but it’s realistic because I could see all the events playing out irl how they did in the show. The ending Murge productions just came up with isn’t bad at all. But it’s the opposite of satisfying, and frankly a bit too dark. This is literally worst case scenario of events. I don’t think it fits Breaking Bad.

Walter becoming a detective would work well. Instead of Walt focusing on the amount of money that the meth dealers made when watching Hank's interview on his birthday, he instead focuses on the admiration that Hank recieved for being good at his job and taking Hank's "Get some excitement in your life" to heart, he would ask Hank if they are hiring at the DEA. With Walt's impressive IQ as well as his vast knowledge of chemistry I could see them taking him on as government agencies usually specifically recruit people with abnormally high IQs for certain jobs. Season 1 could focus on small time dealers like Jesse and bigger dealers like Tuco near the end. Season 2 could continue the Tuco storyline while also introducing Gus.

Walt would never go to the police, he had many chances to when being endangered by Gus and he didn’t, he wouldn’t do it now either.

I feel that when Hank and Marie were killed in their own home Walt would have instantly considered Jack as the only suspect, who else is there? After this I doubt they would immediately go after Walt and his family as they likely wouldn't have discovered their connection with Hank & Marie and they still wanted Walt to cook for them. So I think Walt would have gotten his affairs in order to safely get his money to his family in the future and took advantage of the opportunity to enter their compound to pull a last episode shenanigans taking them all out in a surprise attack in revenge for Hank. He would have still died here either as a result from the attack or succumbing to the cancer, and likely left a note for his family telling them how he killed Jack's gang as revenge for Hank & Marie.
