Omg i recently took a session with a counsellor and he demotivated me so much for wanting to get a masters and kept saying that i scored very less and that i cant get into a good university at all. He went on and on about diplomas, now i know why.

UBC with CAD 9K per year tuition for Master Applied Science Thesis based with CAD 3.2K as Scholarship plus a Research Funding of CAD 32K per year for 2 Years With the above maximum one will spend per year is maximum of CAD 5K per year that include cost of living without working part time of 20 hours per week ..One's education is finance by UBC but student hss to be a Research Assistant

Hey Murrad, I am going to complete my bachelors in computer science soon and was thinking it is better to do a pgdm over a masters in CS as i'm not that interested in research, pgdm is cheaper and less hectic, masters or pgdm at the end your skills get you a job in tech. what do you have to say about this?

Bachelor degree is sufficed for most jobs. Pick our PG Diploma carefully because you are specializing. Show your accomplishments, unique projects, and experience to stand out from your peers.

Hey Murrad , I received acceptance letter from UWaterloo for MEng in chemical Engineering, and I’ve applied for similar courses in Alberta,Calgary, Dalhousie and Ottawa aswell . Now the Tution for Waterloo is slightly higher compared to other unis , so I wanted your opinion on whether Waterloo is worth the money I’m investing or should I prefer other university

Hey murad! My undergrad cgpa is very poor. 2.85 out of 4.0. But i have done my undergrad from the no.1 institution of my country. Most of the canadian uni-s demand a 3 out of 4. What should i do? Your cgpa isn't very poor. It's decent. One way is to contact professors directly and get interviewed for researches, that's where you make your mark and seem rememberable to them. So when you apply, they know you from the interview already. It's a whole process but you still have a shot. I know someone who got into UBC with a 2.7 just because he had a killer essay and explained to the university about why his cgpa is low
