@@MorbidLarsen I get it though why they didn't use it here. I guess you can't say "Big Bang Kamehameha" the same way you could say "Kamehameha" with that slow, dramatic fashion as you say each syllable until you reach "Ha!" at the end. So that's probably more of a cinematic-related decision.

First the fusion with the potaras and second the berserk state which they could control and don't forget they also are experienced fighters . But in the end they lost against gohan. And when we include Goku using mastered ultra instinct which he's able to do now at will broly would lose no matter if he could use his power. While broly uses so much energy for his form Goku doesn't. Mastered ultra instinct isn't a form. It's more an instinct as whis has stated. And Vegeta having his new form broly would also lose. Of course there is the possibility that he's the legendary saiyan. But Goku may be also. It's nowhere stated to be true that broly is the legendary saiyan. If we also put current maga Goku and Vegeta into a fusion form. Some gods of destructions may even lose. That's how strong they're now

If you even notice after they started fighting in the pocket dimension broly somehat started catching up after he turned fpssj was still landing hits on gogeta.

Whis did say that if goku and Vegeta “worked together” they could pull out power capable of facing beerus. When they fused said “looks like you CAN work together after all” So it was probably refreshing to see someone relative to beerus going all out for a change.

If they would INSTANTLY work together without a bit playing, the fights were over before the 1.Fight episode would have ended ... But on Namek Goku was lazy as fuck :D

Fusion Reborn isn't canon so no, Stardust breaker doesn't work like that in this movie. You could see that purely based on the fact that it DID work on him, he felt that attack just like every other attack Gogeta threw at him.
