Ran into murs at a $5 show in Minneapolis when I was visiting my brother back in like 2004. Drank a beer with him while he sipped on his water. Real cool and humble dude. A real living legend. Respect big murs ✊🌴

Murs if you ever read this, I'm sure you know your popularity isn't related to your talent. If it did you'd be one of the hottest MC out there. The problem is your individuality (play me for your friends but I'm probably too advanced for them), you don't get sucked into all the garbage that goes along with signing your creative life away to a label. You've been there, done that with Warner. You know a day is on the horizon where all the little homies and aspiring rappers will be begging for your attention-seeking direction. As a 22-year fan, 8 live concerts later not including LL shows first purchasing the " End of the Beginning" plus 3mg albums prior I've got amazing amounts of respect for you. Not just in your career but in your personal life adopting children spreads positivity into the world. You're a very well-rounded person that I respect immensely and hope you continue doing what you do so one day I can take my daughter who also loves your music (the ones age-appropriate) to one of your shows. Had the chance to talk to you for a while a long time ago at a concert in Scottsdale when you and LL opened for the alcoholics, was a really cool night for me we had the chance to hang out with you and several members of the LL crew. Stay up brother, appreciate you.
