As a brown girl born in the big city, moved before I could remember, the corn fields were the first place I found peace when I got here. I end up close enough to any city and I'm stressed. I go find alpacas in yards, count horses, play my country music along the way. Can't drive a city for crap, but I could lead you to the sunflowers past the water tower around the silos. That's where you find peace

I can't remember the last time the radio even gave a good signal but discovering this on KZfaq has helped my bad days so often. Anyone wanna buy some kids? Jk. It's just hard to afford a trip down a dirt road with these brats. These people think I'm crazy but they just don't understand Damn I need a dirt road

All of the reasons I live in the country. Watching the sunset on my front porch, casting a pole in my pond with a cold beer, listening to the crickets, watching the hummingbirds & squirrels feed... it's beautiful.

This is what I feel like you guys need to do more of. Acoustic based to let those vocals shine and have more of a muddier down home sound. Less bass driven. Keep it up on the music. Plus the song is starting to grow on me.

This sounds really good! I wish the studio version went with a different drum pattern though. And a better bass line, I can feel the right way in my head and hope to someday lay it on top of this recording.
