Johnny Lightning was my bread and butter of my collection for many years. I don't pick them up like I use to but the Trans Am and Monte Carlos are always a favorite of mine. The 1969 Chevy Camaro you showed is their earlier tooling. They retooled it in 2005 I believe, which is alittle better version.

The '71 Camaro and the '70 Buick are my favorites, just picked up, the '64 Ford Thunderbolt ( Tasca Ford Tribute )

Actually the Ford Thunderbolt tooling that Johnny Lightning is using began it's start as Ertl American Muscle 1/64.

Zingers are pritty cool. Reminds me of those rat rod cartoon monster critters driving hopped up rods with super long manual shifters and raised rear end with big mag wheels and tires

I have 10 1/64 Johnny lightning diecast muscle cars (1966 Ford Mustang gt350, 1968 dodge charger rt, 1969 ford mustang Mach 1, 1969 Pontiac Gto, 1970 chevrolet Camaro ss, 1970 dodge super bee, 1970 ford mustang boss 302, 1970 Oldsmobile cutlass convertible, 1972 Oldsmobile cutlass convertible and 1955 chevrolet nomad), all a part my classic/muscle car bedroom.

I just started picking up a few hotwheels and M2 thinking I’d just get what I liked but now i become addicted to collecting and now I need to pack some vehicles away or by more shelves to display my collection. I collect green light too and would collect Johnny lightning and auto world if any other store stocked them. I only have gone to my local Walmart that just have hotwheels, green light and M2. Really wish Walmart stocked auto world and Johnny lightning in my local area. I think they do in other stores in other locations but not in my location. I should try toys r us as well
