It legitimately is! It has the perfect balance of being tough to beat and legitimately challenging, while still feeling beatable and fun to play. Honestly my favourite Sans fight in any fan game, I love how he changes his dialogue depending on the amount of times you’ve died to him.

I like this because Sans isn't the final boss in this game. This is like Megalovania, but if it wasn't a final boss theme

@@sora654able1 i saw someone comment on how sans left a cardboard cutout of crossbones that you attack, which would represent the death of crossbones the hero but the real sans is alive. When you check the notebook after the fight it does say hes eradicated

I ate up his first "backstory" hook line and sinker. Then he revealed that he made it up, and then "revealed" that he was just Sans. If I could've spoken to him directly, I'd say: "If you weren't *Sans,* I wouldn't have bought your backstory." Then he said "Maybe some part of that whole spiel was true." All I could think was "I know which parts were."

funny enough: i was seeing a video in which if you interact with the Comic book it says that it was a quantum physics book with the Cover of the Crossobones comic

By the end of the fight, the kernels of truth were strong enough that I couldn't bring myself to cause any more suffering, and I unironically decided to spare him. Wasn't until I learned about when you miss every attack that I was able to progress.

I didnt know Crossbones had an eye sprite, when i did the fight i only remember him doing the eye thing at the end when his bandana is already off.

His eye flashing at the end is parallel to how Undertale's Sans eye only flashes twice: during his Strongest Attack and his last attack.

@@undertalerandomvideos5222 it actually doesn't, you're probably misremembering. In most fan games that's the case, but in Undertale he only uses it twice as stated. Check his fight back if you are unsure.

the name of the songs seems to refer to 1. how players would do a genocide (ruthless in this case,) presumably from habit from the original game. 2. Muscle Memory in reference to mus_muscle, aka 'sans.'

The Genocide Crossbones fight, you say? Well, aside from the Genocide Route in TS!Underswap actually being named the Ruthless Route, you're completely wrong. Sans fights you in Ruthless at the end of the Starlight Isles, as is revealed midway through the fight. Crossbones, however, is off helping with the evacuation, as he is not Sans.

SO TRUE! Thank you for clearing this up. I see too many people thinking that just because sans LOOKS like crossbones in the fight, it means that they're the same person.
