What's wrong with Melvin Anthony's voice? He sounds like Eddie Murphy doing an impersonation of Mr T.. Someone should also tell Melvin if you defeat a fading bodybuilder who is way past his best, it doesn't count. Everyone knows that Chris Cormier was about the 90s and very early 2000s. By 2002 many of the 90s bodybuilders had faded out.

It was interesting what they said about gym equipment. Today at a gym every single exercise is a different machine. While if I had access to dumbbells and an Olympic bar. A power rack and a bench, I could easily do 30 plus different exercises. The only bodypart where machines are superior is with leg machines. With todays leg machines you do not need anyone giving you a spot and you can train to failure without endangering yourself.

Anja Langer was a pioneer in female bodybuilding. Pretty, symmetrical and great sweeping quads and good arms. She was one of the prettiest ladies back then.

Man! I haven’t heard that name in a while. Jean-Paul Guillome. I think he won the 86 or 88 middle Nationals as a middleweight. Great physique and baseball biceps! Bring on the show! Other greats from the past are Orville Burke, Renel Janvier, Gary Strydom, Tom Platz, Edgar Fletcher, etc.

Melvin lol give me a break. I can think of prob 40 modern bodybuilders off the top of my head that train way harder than Melvin. I've seen almost all of his workout videos. Out of their group, Chris cormier was the only dude that really trained hard. Flex and Melvin were pump guys. They weren't going to failure unless they were forced to. At least in all the videos I've seen of them. Also weren't very deep, squatters etc Seriously, just stop with the modern hate on modern bodybuilders. It's just getting old guys. I get it. You loved your time in the 90s, but do you really need to constantly s*** on the modern guys. There's so many good pros now and so many guys that train hard. You guys just aren't watching these guys
