For years I thought there was a consensus worldwide that Origin was their best album. Had absolutely no idea that it was unavailable in the US for years so very few people heard it.

Sometimes i feel like i'm the only one who unironically loves simulation theory Yeah, it's weird, but it's literally just matt going "oh fuck boys we're in a simulation and nothing matters. let's make some funky beats and an even worse acoustic version of our worst song" and i honestly love that. Yes, i hate something human.

Gotta have to agree with you guys with the whole "OoS is best album" thing. I do actually really like some of the stuff from Simulation Theory, though. Thought Contagion and Break It To Me, mostly.

I really love Simulation Theory. Pressure, Dig Down, and Thought Contagion are extremely good. Muse is one of those bands that I've never heard a bad song from.

For me, Absolution and Origin are top albums with Black Holes sitting solidly in 3rd as a good album in its own right.

Origin has to be my favourite Muse album imo. There's very few albums in existence that I could sit down and listen to the whole way through without wanting to skip at least one song.

I honestly love all their albums, but I think Resistance is probably my favorite. Though even more honestly, it's probably tied with literally all their albums except Showbiz. I like Showbiz, but it's definitely their worst.

I like origin a lot but I always thought Absolution was the best. Just the vibe of the album, the songs, the vocals, bass, drums. Just in another level for me personally. Looking back I wasn’t that keen on drones. Lyrics are a bit crap- there’s some great songs there but idk I think they tried a little too hard. Black holes and The Resistance are just masterpieces. The Second Law I thought was ok, not AMAZING but certainly a solid album. Don’t get me started on Simulation Theory. I’m still in shock about what it was meant to be. Just kind of flopped in my mind. Blockades, Darkside and Pressure were good tracks though

I definitely think Simulation Theory is their weakest album. However, it was the first album I heard from Muse, so I have a sort of soft spot for it. I didn’t really like all or even most of the songs on the album, but Algorithm got me hooked and pushed me to listen to their earlier stuff. So while it’s nowhere near my favorite album, it definitely holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

I always like their music in general so I never thought on ranking it. I would say 2nd law is the weakest one for me even though it was my first Muse album😅. Black holes is one of the best though.

I think I'm in a space-timey ship thing that outside looks like a yak, but in here it looks like a mid-century American styled living room, Gunsmoke playing on the Tube in the background while at the built in bar, the window looks out the yak's eyes into what we all have come to experience, which is reality.
