So Nishe with the piano is amazing. But I also wanna show appreciation for how amazing Dom's kit sounds in this! Obviously his playing is always on point, but daaaamn the sound guy did good!

No, Resistance is based on 1984. This is based on a book called "The Grand Chessboard". Matt says so in an interview with Zane Lowe. :D

@Franzilla0405 Yes, its based on 1984. :) I always loved that book, when I noticed the whole album was based on that book I almost cried. Once you read the book (and understands it) and listen to this album your life changes. Its amazing.

Is this song based on Orwell's 1984? They lyrics seem to indicate that. The wars that never end, like in the book. As well as the country named Eurasia, and the fact that everyone must do as theyre told.
