MUSE - TOP 10 GUITAR SOLOS [PART 2]

I couldn’t just leave it at one top 10 video. Muse have so many brilliant solos that a part 2 had to be done!
Personally, after my top 3 solos (Reapers, Animals and Invincible) I find it very hard to rank them as I love them all for different reasons, so this top 10 is just how I was feeling at the time of recording and is very fluid.
I hope you enjoy this video, and let me know what your top 10 are!
Note: Unfortunately no matter what I tried, The Handler caused the video to be blocked every time so I have had to upload with no backing track.

So good man. I know copyright is a bitch, but I actually really liked just hearing the solo for The Handler without the backing track, it was really impressive and you get to hear all the details in those arpeggios.

The way you played that last lick on the solo for blackout reminds me a lot of when they did wembley in 2004, which is my favorite live version of any song ever. It just hits me in the soul so hard. You are so talented man, keep it up!

We had a Blackout yesterday, and seeing this as uploaded two days ago, it reminded me to turn on notifications so I can get caught up after my short Recess from the Internet. After the power came back, I was really feeling the Groove while playing "Darkshines," but the solo for "Unnatural Selection" is Easily one of my favourites 🥴

Exceptional. I play these videos all the time when I'm nostalgic for the Muse concerts I've attended. Part 1 was fantastic as well, you've done Matt proud. Please please please release a video on or do a write up somewhere for the effects pedals you used and how they were set, you nailed the sound!!! I broke my guitar out of storage to poorly attempt my favorites and work towards something but nowhere near this level.

James, how does your strat handle the divebombs? Have you got locking tuners, any particular setup? Also, ridiculously good playing as usual

The strat I use (my father's) has the Roller-ball style nut, and it *rarely* goes out of tune with divebombs. I'd recommend if you have a standard bone/plastic/composite nut to keep it lubricated. And I don't know it's just placebo, but I use Daddario Balanced Tension (BT-110 i think) strings on my strat and guitar with a Floyd Rose for tuning stability
