I believe this song will be looked back on in hundreds of years as a reflection of the corruption in the world. The world has gone to shit. Everyone is completely brainwashed and controlled. It feels powerless, like I'm living in a simulation of something, but this song gives me hope that there are other people out there that see the truth of the world.

Same here when this came out 12 years ago I really liked this song, but I honestly NEVER Payed attention to the lyrics whatsoever, which is unusual for me!!! I usually pay attention to lyrics!!! I think maybe that the musical arrangement was SO appealing and awesome to me , that I was only paying attention to the musicality and the arrrangement, because even without the phenomenal poeti c timeless lyrics, the instrumental is brilliant and can totally stand alone…. However the pairing of the two makes it one of the greatest rock songs ever imo!!!!

I have to tell my story. I had it out with my Dr. a few years back, about the meds I was taking. I got pissed off and left!! Came home and dumped all meds that was given to me into the toilet. Since that day, I have lost 50 pounds, and have been lifting weights like a 20 year old. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! And I had a double bypass back in 2014, which I was lost twice during surgery. Did not see anything, as far as I know. But I do know the truth now. God is AWESOME!!!
