which is hard to do with all the annoying picture takers. she's in a separate room, but you can hardly see her for the crowd. took almost an hour to get close to it. and then she is under heavy glass....so that kinda ruined it for me. can see her better online in goole search. plus no crowds.

When you think about the view from the Louvres where you can see the 2 arches of triumph, la Concorde, the Champs Élysées and the financial district "La défense" behind it... 😍 Paris isn't perfect but this precise alignement is honestly the most beautiful urban space on Earth to me.

I have travelled extensively, grew up outside my own country and have been living for a while now in my husband's country. I have loved and admired many cities around the world. Of course, Paris isn't perfect but Paris remains to me the most beautiful city in the world, with its large avenues, its monuments, its harmonious architecture. This city has a charm like nowhere else. The French government had even the wisdom to build its business area with its skyscrapers (La Défense) outside the wall of the City. Paris being my birth city, I'm of course not objective. 😂 P.S. I love its bouquinistes (booksellers) along the banks of the Seine

la Chevalier d'Artagnan could spin weaves of tales from the Louvre. A most devoted and capable personage of the age. Athos, le Comte de la Fere and Raul, le Vicomte de Bragelonne could also spin some tails. Porthos and Aramis too! I could go on and on. I love history, and Dumas really did a great job bringing these histories to life in the d'Artagnan Romances. I am awe stricken with wonderment.

Greece is laughing. Unlike India, Greece's history is well documented all thanks to ancient Greek writers, philosophers, mathematicians, scientists, etc. Those temples rely on Carbon Dating which isn't 100% accurate. Acropolis in Athens is much more older than that. Stop bragging about our long history which a lot are pseudo-history. You are embarrassing us.

@@francinesicard464 I apologise on behalf of the Indian people. He does not represent us. I admit that some of our History was politicised and fabricated. Yes it's true that Indus Valley Civilisation is very old but we don't know for sure how old it is. I believe the Minoan Civilisation in Crete, Greece is much older since it had a lot of artifacts that coincide to its neolithic neighbours in the Middle East and so on.

@@francinesicard464 The engineering aspect is very good and a brilliant solution, yes, but this did not require a colossal shopping-mall style obstruction cluttering up the landscape. Any structure of that size, regardless of style, would be out of scale and damage the intended spacial relationship between the wings. Also there is no greenery of any sort and the effect is deeply lifeless. It's simply bad landscaping.
