This mushroom hunting / foraging video was recorded on 11th November 2023 in Czechia, Europe. It shows picking of the following mushroom species: Cep / Penny bun / King bolete (Boletus edulis), Bay bolete (Imleria badia), Matte bolete (Xerocomellus pruinatus), Birch bolete / Scaber stalk (Leccinum sp.). It also shows some more of wild mushroom species.

Yes, the color is very similar which makes it very difficult to find mushrooms among them :)

Great video! I have a few questions if you don't mind. Why do you press the soil after picking the mushrooms? And why do you say that it is amazing to find these mushrooms in November, is it early or late?

Thank you. About pressing the soil, I try to cover the "hole" after picking the mushroom so the mycelium stays protected there. And to cover my traces as a secondary reason. About November, it's not unusual to find ceps in warm deciduous forests, but still it's quite late and it's easier to find them in September / October. Each season is different though.
